The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, January 22 reveals Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) plan to drug Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will hit a snag.
Also coming up, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will raise the alarm bell with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) won’t like what she hears. And Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be too weak to escape.
Y&R spoilers tease Sharon will see another mirage of Nick, who will tell her she has to save herself. He’ll ask if she can stand and she’ll say no. “I want to get out of here,” she’ll say. “I want to be with you and the kids, but I can’t do it.”

At the motel, Nick will ask guests there about the woman in Ian Ward’s (Ray Wise) room and he’ll learn she has long blonde hair and glasses. He’ll spot the woman as she gets into a black pickup and takes off but he won’t see her face. He’ll return to the room and tell Chance.
The cop will say he took a photo of the fingerprints on the glass and sent them for analysis. He’ll get the results quickly. “Son of a bitch, it’s Jordan,” he’ll say. A shocked Nick will realize she’s the one working with Ian Ward (Ray Wise).
Speaking of Jordan, she’ll call Claire and say her uncle Nick and Chance are in the motel room, so she needs a new place to stay. Claire will suggest she can hide her on the ranch. When she hangs up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will freak.
“I will not have this woman on the property!” she’ll tell Claire. However, she’ll say she has it all under control. “I do not like this at all!” Victoria will say. “There’s this coldness about you that’s not familiar to me.”
Claire will say she doesn’t like the idea of killing a person. “But if we don’t do this, how many more lives is Jordan going to take?” Nikki will say she’s got an idea and they’ll head out, as Victor stands on the stairs, looking puzzled.
Nikki and Victoria will head to the tack house and Claire will meet Jordan at the look out. And when Jordan tells her she left fingerprints and DNA in the motel room, Claire will be angry. “I thought you were smarter than that!” she’ll shout at her aunt. “I can’t let your weakness jeopardize my plan to punish the Newmans for all they’ve done.”

But Jordan will say she only made one mistake. Then Claire will ask if her partner is Ian Ward and Jordan will admit it. Claire will take her back to the tack house and Nikki and Victoria will have made themselves scarce.
However, Jordan will be nervous about being on the property. “I promise you, you’re exactly where you need to be right now and no one else is ever going to hurt you,” Claire will say.
Jordan will look out the window and Claire will say tell her she needs to relax. “How about a nice cup of tea?” But before Jordan takes a sip, Claire will ask if Ian was responsible for Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death or if she was involved.
“You suggest a plan for a murder, but somehow you don’t want to talk about that,” Jordan will reply. “So you want to murder Victoria Newman, or I am the one being played for the fool?” But eventually, Jordan will admit that Ian was involved in Heather’s murder and that she’s hiding Sharon somewhere as an insurance policy against him.
So, Claire will ask where Sharon is. “You know, I have to trust you and you need to reciprocate that trust in me,” she’ll reply. “And leave Sharon’s fate all up to me.” Then Jordan will be about to take a sip of her tea. “Stop!” Claire will tell her.
Finally, Nick and Chance will arrive at the ranch and tell Victor they’ve confirmed that Ian is working with a partner and it’s Jordan. Chance will say she escaped from prison and put an imposter in her cell. The three men will assume Ian came back for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). “And Jordan came back for Claire,” Victor will say.
