The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, May 13 reveals Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will drop a bombshell on Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Also coming up, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will have a change of heart. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will be devastated when they return home, after visiting their son (offscreen, as usual). And Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will not be happy.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will spot Christine at the GCAC restaurant. She’ll saunter over and ask if her so-called important client wasn’t so important after all. “You didn’t really want Danny did you?” Phyllis will add. “You just wanted to make sure I didn’t get him.”
But Christine will say she’s shooting off her mouth without knowing a damn thing. Then Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will arrive, kiss Christine and say hello to Phyllis. “I turned down the case, I’m going with Danny after all,” Christine will triumphantly tell Phyllis. But she’ll add it has nothing to do with her, they’ve fallen in love again.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chelsea Tells Adam She’s Been A Mess
Meanwhile, Nate will tell Lily and Devon he’s never seen Aunt Mamie (Veronica Redd) that upset. “She brought it all onto herself,” Devon will say. As he and Nate talk about what they think Mamie will do next, Lily will see a text message from Billy, saying he needs to see her as soon as possible.
Nate will say Mamie doesn’t have the power to cause any corporate instability. “I think we were right to tell her that we all feel she overstepped,” Lily will say. But Devon will say Mamie was right about one thing, they need to get rid of Billy.
However, Lily will stick up for Billy and Devon will say he’s just after more control and more power. Then she’ll tell them say she got a message from Billy and has to go talk to him. After she heads out, Devon will say he doesn’t like this. “Maybe some of what Aunt Mamie was saying was right.” Nate will reply.
At Chancellor-Winters, Chelsea will arrive and start crying. “Things are so much worse for Connor than we thought,” she’ll tell Billy. “His OCD is raging, he’s not getting better, he’s getting worse.” He may have to go into inpatient treatment, where he’ll be isolated, and they can watch him more closely. Then Lily will walk in and Chelsea will leave.
At Adam’s place, he’ll walk in with a gym bag, after visiting Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will show up and Adam will tell her the drugs his son are on are messing with his sleep. “We didn’t even get to see Connor at all.” The doctors couldn’t take the risk of letting them visit, because Connor started punishing himself. “Physically, he started punching his legs.” There’ll be a knock at the door. It’s Chelsea.
“I’m so sorry for what Connor’s going through,” Sally will tell Chelsea, adding she’s so brave. After she leaves for a meeting, Chelsea will tell Adam she’s a mess. Billy tried to give her the same pep talk. “It’s excruciating, isn’t it?” Adam will say. “The truth is only we are the ones who know what we are going through.”

Then Chelsea will ask Adam if he blames her for all this. Adam will say of course not. But he’ll add their knee jerk reactions are not helping him. “I’m more guilty than you are, I’m the one who wanted to yank him out of there,” he’ll add. “I finally admit that I don’t know how to fix this, so we have to have faith in the doctors.”
Back at Chancellor-Winters, Lily will ask Billy why he needed to see her. “Jill made a very major decision,” Billy will reply. “She has decided to step away and she’s handing all of her decision-making power to me.”
Of course, Lily will be shocked and ask if he’s serious or just playing games. But he’ll ask what he’d have to gain from it. “Your brother, he’s not going to be happy with this,” Billy will add. And Lily will say Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) should have discussed it with her. She’ll want to talk to Jill, but Billy will say she’s travelling.
Finally, Devon and Nate will show up and ask what’s going on. “You might want to sit down,” Lily will say. “Because it’s a shocker.” After she tells her brother about Jill’s decision, Devon will ask if it’s another one of Billy’s power plays.
But Billy will say he was just as surprised as he was. Nevertheless, they need to make it work. “We don’t have to do anything, until we speak to your mom,” Devon will reply. “We’re not just going to let you get away with this.”
