The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, September 12 reveals Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) he’s sorry.
Also coming up, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will tell Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) she’s not returning to Portugal. Plus, Jack, Billy and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will be stunned when they see Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has returned from Paris without Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will meddle in her children’s lives.
Y&R spoilers tease Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will tell Phyllis her recent trip to Milan made her realize it’s time to move on and she’s letting go of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). “Do you really want to move in this direction?” Phyllis will ask. “Do I seriously have to remind you why I’m in this situation?” Summer will counter.

Phyllis will change the topic to Daniel and how he seems to be happy with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). “Who knows how long that’ll last now that Heather’s back in town.” But Summer will grimace and tell her mother not to meddle.
Speaking of Daniel, he’ll run into Heather at Crimson Lights. They’ll talk about her life in Portugal. And she’ll admit she and her boyfriend broke up and she’s not sure if she’s going to return. Heather will say she’s thinking of staying in Genoa City. She also knows Lucy Romalotti (Lucy Brooks O’Briant) would be happy. “It’s kept her hope alive that there’s a way for the three of us to be a family again.”
Heather will tell him she’s off to meet Phyllis and Daniel will roll his eyes. Then Summer will walk in he’ll tell her what he thinks their mother is up to. And she’ll ask him if he wants to get back together with Heather. “Lily and I are happy,” he’ll reply. “Things are good.”
At Jabot, Jack will tell Diane it’s time they set a date for their wedding reception. “How do you like the sound of early October?” he’ll ask. They’ll kiss and Billy will walk in. “I’m sorry,” he’ll tell his brother. “I started to buy into the narrative that Ashley and Tucker had been pushing.” Billy will admit he shouldn’t have let it go as far as it did.

Meanwhile, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be surprised to run into Tucker at the GCAC. “That must have been the shortest honeymoon on record,” she’ll say. “Where is Ashley?” He’ll tell her he and Ashley had an argument. “I don’t buy that,” she’ll reply. Tucker will admit it was more than an argument. But Audra will push for more information and he’ll get angry. Then Jack, Diane and Billy will walk in.
“What’s he doing back?” Diane will say when she spots Tucker. “And where is Ashley?” Jack will reply. They’ll approach and ask Tucker why he’s sitting with Audra and not Ashley. “Why don’t you ask her yourself?” an angry Tucker will reply before he storms off. So, Jack will leave his sister a message.
When Diane leaves, Jack will ask Billy to stay behind. “I want to talk to you about and everything you just said earlier,” Jack will say. “I hate not trusting my family, makes me wonder who I can count on.” But Billy will tell Jack he took on their father’s legacy but it’s not just him anymore and he doesn’t have to do that alone. “I cannot tell you how happy it makes me hearing you say that,” Jack will reply. However, as Billy walks away, he’ll have a strange look on his face. But is he playing Jack?
Finally, Heather will arrive at Society to meet Phyllis and Tucker will ask her if she’s staying in Genoa City. She’ll tell him she’s considering her options. “Well consider this,” he’ll reply. “If you do decide to stay, I’m going to need a good attorney.”
