The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for October 10 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be livid with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Also coming up, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will lie to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will come through for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Winters (Bryton James). And Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will slip up.
Y&R spoilers tease Sharon will be shocked to learn that Chance is back on the GCPD and investigating Heather’s death. “Does that mean it wasn’t an accident?” Sharon will ask. She’ll say the thought that Heather could have been murdered and the killer’s still out there is frightening. “So, I’ll help in any way I can.”
Chance will say he heard that Sharon confronted the Romalotti family more than once. Sharon will admit she overreacted and said unkind things to Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). But she’ll also lie and say she noticed tension between the couple.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Admits That She Was With Heather
“It was really more the things Daniel had mentioned,” she’ll add. “Especially when Daniel mentioned that Heather wanted to leave Genoa City, there just seemed to be some real conflict between them.” Chance will tell Sharon she seems a little nervous. Then his phone will ring, he’ll head outside to take the call, and Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will appear.
“You planted just the right seed for Detective Dreamy there in Daniel’s direction,” Cameron will say. “This is the cosmic justice we have been waiting for.” But he’ll add that she needs to calm down. “I can’t do it,” Sharon will reply. “I can’t frame Daniel for a crime he didn’t commit.”
Chance will walk back inside and Sharon will start crying. She’ll say she’s been keeping something from him and it’s been weighing on her very heavily. “I was with Heather the night she died.” Sharon will tell him she went over there to apologize to Heather and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).
But Heather was alone and told her she and Daniel just had a big fight. Chance will ask why she’s just saying something about this now. And Sharon will say she couldn’t imagine how tortured Daniel would be if he knew how upset Heather was. “Now that there’s an investigation into her death, I felt I needed to be honest.”
Meanwhile, Jack will walk into Society and spot Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) there. Abby will watch and wonder what’s wrong with the two of them. Devon will arrive and she’ll tell him it seems like there’s trouble in paradise. She’ll say she hopes they work it out before the wedding. But Devon will tell her their wedding venue was cancelled.
At Jack and Diane’s table, she’ll say she doesn’t want to talk to him until he admits that their son is responsible for his own actions. Then she’ll see a press release on her phone. “Glissade has stolen our product!” she’ll say. “This is exactly what we were planning to launch next month.” Diane will say there’s only one possibility to how it happened.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Whoever Crosses The Finish Line First
“This project was top secret – this means Kyle did this,” she’ll add. “He somehow broke into our system and stole the formula.” So, Jack will tell Diane he’s going to confront Kyle and he’ll take off. Then Victor will show up and Diane will tell him she knows what he’s up to. “I’m not going to let you destroy my family!”
Abby will approach Victor and they’ll tell him their wedding venue isn’t available. But Victor will say he’ll knows the perfect place where they can get married. Abby will ask where and Victor will say she’ll find out. Nikki will show up and say Victor’s full of surprises. He promised her an amazing gift.
Finally, Jack will return home and accuse Kyle of the unthinkable. He’ll say he saw the press release from Glissade and he knows Kyle stole the product from Jabot. “Corporate theft is a serious crime, you could find yourself facing charges,” Jack will add. But a smug Kyle will say his father he shouldn’t have underestimated him. “Isn’t business just about whoever crosses the finish line first?”
But Jack will tell him he went too far. “Jabot has not had a new product launch at this scale in a decade!” he’ll shout. “I don’t know if I can forgive you for this!” But Kyle will say now Jack knows what it’s like when someone in his so-called family does something unforgiveable.
“Amazing,” Jack will tell his son. “I don’t even recognize you.” He’ll tell Kyle he’s blinded by his ego, his hubris. He’s a pawn in Victor’s game and doesn’t even know it. Then Jack will give his son a warning. “If I find proof that you accessed sensitive Jabot material, I will not hesitate to hit you with every legal action that is necessary.”
