The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, July 7 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be stunned by the notification he receives on his phone.
Also coming up, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will put Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) in her place. Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) wants Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to join her at Newman Media. And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will debate whether to help Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at McCall.
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants him to work with Adam at McCall. Sally will proceed to rant and rave about both Victor and Adam. She’ll get so worked up that she’ll tell Nick she needs some sleep and will ask him to leavve.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Kyle Is Tempted By Audra’s Proposal
So, he’ll head to Crimson Lights and ask Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) if she thinks he should work with Adam. Sharon will ask if Adam would even want him there. But Nick will say he’s considering it, especially since Adam’s grieving right now and he’s a powder keg. “So what will you do?” she’ll ask him.
Meanwhile, Kyle will walk into the GCAC and spot Audra sitting at a table. He’ll smile and walk over. “You seem very pleased about something,” she’ll say, as he sits down. “I am if you are,” he’ll reply. Kyle will say the earrings look great on her and she’ll thank him. “Those flowers you sent are breathtaking, they really brighten up my suite,” Audra will say. “You should come up and see them.” Then she’ll head up to her suite and Kyle will join her.
After they sleep together again, Audra will talk about how much she loves having total autonomy at her job. “I need a right hand man, interested?” she’ll ask Kyle. She’ll say Adam is trying to come after them. “So we need to swing first and swing fast, so I think you’re the perfect man for the job.” Kyle will hesitate, thinking about his family. But he’ll admit he’s tempted.
At the Abbott estate, Diane and Jack will discuss Kyle’s separation. Then he’ll get a notification on his phone. “Are you kidding me? I don’t believe this,” he’ll say. “Tucker and Ashley in business together, it’s outrageous!” Then he’ll make a call and learn the company is legit. Diane will admit she feels somewhat responsible. “This whole rift started when you and I got back together,” she’ll say. But Jack will be quick to tell her she’s not to blame.

At Society, Ashley will tell Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) that Jack’s phone should be pinging any second with their press release. “I wish I could see his face when he finds out we’ve started our own company,” she’ll say. “It’ll make his head explode.” They’ll joke around and Tucker will comically imitate Jack and his reaction to the news.
Then Jack and Diane will walk in. “You are so predictable. As soon as you can’t get your own way you pick up your toys and leave us all hanging,” Jack will tell his sister. But Tucker will ask to talk to Jack alone. Outside, Jack will ask Tucker to call off the foolishness. He’ll accuse him of dragging his sister away from a company she loves. However, Tucker will tell Jack Jabot is just a company. “If you want to honor your father, wish your sister well,” Tucker will say. “Toast her new beginning and celebrate her impending marriage.”
Finally, Ashley will tell Diane it’s only a matter of time before she does something stupid and undermines her father’s company. All the while, she and Tucker will be watching their company grow, as Jabot fails. Ashley will say Jack will remember family is the most important thing and he’ll cut her loose. “And see, you’re never gonna be a true member of our family,” she’ll continue. “You are never going to be an Abbott. Not ever. For as long as you live.”
