The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, May 28 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will learn some alarming news from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will officially hire Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) as their son’s nanny. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have a big ask for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). And Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will make a suggestion to Summer.
Y&R spoilers tease Summer will tell Chelsea her heart goes out to her. But Chelsea will say she’d like to take a leave of absence. “Of course,” Summer will reply. However, Chelsea will have a suggestion as her replacement. “I know you don’t have a great history with Sally but she’s changed.”
But Summer will not exactly be amenable and will tell Chelsea she needs to think about it. After she leaves, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will arrive and Chelsea will say her son’s not doing great but she’s been glad to have Adam to lean on.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Harrison’s Thrilled To Learns The News
At the Abbott estate, Kyle, Claire and Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) will return after a day at the park. When Harrison goes upstairs, Claire will ask if Summer is really considering her for the nanny position. Then he’ll get a text from Summer, saying she’s on the way.
Summer will arrive and will say she’s glad Claire is there. However, she has questions, and Summer will interview her. Claire will answer her questions satisfactorily and she’ll also say she’s done a lot of research on child care and on Harrison.
“I understand the trauma that Harrison has faced and I can relate to those feelings of abandonment and confusion,” Claire will add. Plus, she’ll say he’s lucky to have such loving and supportive parents. “I would have loved to grow up with parents who put their child first.” Then Summer will offer her the position, on a trial basis. And of course, Harrison will be thrilled.
Meanwhile, Adam will tell Sally he’s looking forward to seeing his son. But he’s not looking forward to leaving her. He also wants to be completely upfront. So, Sally will ask what he did this time and he’ll say Chelsea’s taking a leave of absence from Marchetti and he asked her to pitch Sally to fill in.
Sally will tell him she’s not upset, it’d be an amazing opportunity, but she’s not going to hold her breath. They’ll get to his apartment and Sally will tell Adam she’ll miss him while he’s in Maryland. They’ll make love and Adam will say he has an important question for her. “Move in with me.”
Sally will be surprised but Adam will say point out she can move in while he’s gone. “This is a really big decision Adam,” she’ll reply. “I’m going to take a moment to think about this, and I want you to do the same.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Audra Asks If He’s Had Her Followed
At the Jazz Club, Jack will tell Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) he’s feeling hopeful about Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). “Ashley’s not the only one I’m concerned about,” Diane will reply. But Jack will say he’s doing fine and not inclined to hide behind a haze of pills.
“I’m hopeful about Ashley, when she gets to Paris, I hope she will turn a corner,” he’ll add. Then Tucker will appear. “Ashley’s in Paris?” he’ll ask. Jack will snap at him and say it’s a private conversation. “Where Ashley is, what she does, is none of your damn business.”
But Tucker will say he only has the best intentions. And he’ll pull up a chair, sit down and ask what she’s doing in Paris. So, Jack will say Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) thinks there was an incident in Paris after Ashley’s conflict with him. “Do you have any clue as to what might have happened after?” he’ll ask. But Tucker will say no.
“I will try not to run into her while I’m there,” Tucker will add. “Wait, you’re going to Paris as well?” Jack will ask, incredulously. He’ll say it’s a business trip for Glissade. “Stay the hell away from Ashley!” Jack will tell him. But Tucker will remind Jack he expressed concern to him about Ashley a while ago. “And what did you do?” he’ll continue. “Instead of listening, you just went off on me.”
Finally, Tucker will return to his hotel room and he’ll get a video call from Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). She’ll ask him why been keeping tabs on her. He’ll deny it but remind her she walked away from him. Then he’ll tell her he canceled every meeting she set up.
“Stay away from Glissade,” Tucker will warn her, adding she no longer has anything to do with the company. “We’ll see about that,” Audra will reply and hang up.
