The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, October 2 reveals Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will identify Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) body.
Also coming up, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will apologize to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will test Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will argue.
Y&R spoilers tease Audra will tell Victor Kyle sabotages her at every corner, even if it’s at the expense of Glissade. Then Victor will call Kyle in. “Audra just told me you were trying to undermine her,” he’ll say. “Care to defend yourself?” Kyle will tell him Audra’s just trying to spin things in her favor. They’ll argue in front of Victor until he tells them to stop.
“You both want to run the damn company so why don’t you prove to me that you’re competent.” So, Victor will say they obviously can’t work together and he wants them to prove to him who is capable and who is expendable.

At Society, Jack will tell Diane there’s trouble brewing behind the scenes at Newman Enterprises. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) offered to buy Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) out of Abbott-Chancellor, without Victor’s knowledge. He’ll say he wants to help Billy but Diane will say they need to worry about replacing Kyle at Jabot.
“We’re going to look inept if we don’t move forward.” Jack will say it sounds like she cares more about the company than about Kyle. Jack will take a call and Audra will walk in. “What’s it going to take to get your claws out of my son?” Diane will ask. They’ll argue and Jack will walk in the middle of it. Then Audra will listen in as Jack and Diane argue.
At the Abbott estate, Kyle will walk in and call out for his mom. When she doesn’t answer, he’ll open her laptop. “New projects,” he’ll say as he opens the folder. “Bingo.” So, Kyle will head to Victor’s office and he’ll say he can show Victor right now why he’s the person to run Glissade.
“I can offer you something invaluable, something Jabot has in the pipeline, a game changing moisturizer.” Kyle will add that this will pull the rug out from under them. He’ll give the intel to Victor but has one caveat. “Only if Audra is fired.” Soon afterwards, Audra will tell Victor she has information for him. She’ll say Jack and Diane got into a fight at Society. “Really, that’s your intel?” Victor will ask. “Miss Charles, thank you for your service. You’re fired.”
Meanwhile, Daniel will meet with Phyllis and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) at Crimson Lights. “Have either of you heard from Heather recently?” he’ll ask. “She just left. She’s gone.” He’ll tell them she said she needed a break from Sharon, but he’s worried. So, Daniel will call Heather’s father and ask him to call if Heather gets in touch with him.
At Sharon’s cottage, she’ll act as though everything’s normal. “It’s great seeing you in such high spirits,” Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will say. Sharon say she’s dealing with her issues, no more running away. She’ll add that she’s got a therapy session today. Nick will admit while she was missing he called her doctor.

“He didn’t say one thing about your sessions or your treatment. He really respected your confidentiality.” He’ll apologize but Sharon will say she understands. She’ll ask Nick if he can fix a window upstairs that’s stuck and he’ll head up. Then Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will appear and Sharon will say she feels she could lose it any minute.
But he’ll tell her she has to keep up the act. She’ll say Heather’s death was a wake-up call and she’s looking forward to her therapy session. Cameron will tell her to be careful. “You know there’s a solution right?” he’ll add. “Heather’s dead, but Daniel’s still alive. So you can never truly get closure for Cassie’s death.”
Nick will drive Sharon to her appointment and afterwards they’ll head to Crimson Lights. She’ll look on the patio and see Daniel, Phyllis and Summer. Daniel will head out and Phyllis and Summer will say hello to Nick. And Sharon will apologize to Phyllis for lashing out at her the other day.
Finally, Daniel will get a call from Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), who’ll tell him he got a text from Heather, saying she’s fine. Phyllis will show up and Daniel will get a call from the police. “They think they found Heather’s body,” he’ll tell his mother.
A fisherman found a body and they’ve identified Heather’s fingerprints. But Daniel will say he’s going to go to the morgue to tell them they’re wrong. Phyllis will offer to go with him but he’ll say he has to do it alone. Once he arrives, an attendant will remove the sheet and Daniel will see Heather underneath.
