The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, September 25 reveals Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will decide to pour the poisoned bottle of whiskey down a drain.
Also coming up, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will be shocked to find an intruder in her home. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will try to reassure Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will share good news with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will walk into Sharon’s cottage, hoping she’s inside. But Faith will walk down the stairs and say it’s just her, her mom’s not there. “This is just not right,” she’ll tell her dad. However, Nick will say she needs to believe everything will be okay.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Is In The Mood For A Celebration
Faith will say she hopes Nick isn’t mad but she ran into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at the park and asked him to help. Nick will say of course he’s not mad. “He did give me some advice, he believes if anyone can help her, it’s you.” Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will arrive and Nick will say he’s afraid if they don’t find her soon, Sharon could get worse.
At Society, Daniel will meet his mom and sister for dinner. Phyllis will say she thinks things are going to go great for the three of them very soon. They’ll tease her but Phyllis will say she just wants to be happy spending time with two of her favorite people in the world.
“Dinner’s on me,” she’ll tell them, then she’ll order champagne. Summer and Daniel will ask if that’s a good idea, since she doesn’t have a job. Daniel will tell her Heather wants to leave town. Phyllis will assume it’s because of Sharon. “I will be damned if I lose my family because of Sharon and her constant drama!”
However, Daniel will say he convinced Heather to stay in Genoa City. Phyllis will ask how he’d like it if she did something like that to him. Daniel will say Sharon actually apologized, but Phyllis will tell him she doesn’t believe it.
Then Phyllis will say the reason she wanted to celebrate is she’s the new COO of Abbott-Chancellor. “Mom, your history with Billy, professionally and personally, you don’t exactly have the best track record together,” Summer will reply. But Phyllis will say they know each other so well and are wiser than before. So, Daniel will make a toast to Phyllis.
Daniel will head out, saying he has to pick Lucy up from her community service gig. At the GCAC, he’ll buy his daughter some ice cream and tell her he’s feeling positive. Plus, Sharon apologized. “That is great!” Lucy will reply. “If everything’s okay with Sharon then I’m sure Faith won’t mind if I give her a call.” But Daniel will say they should leave things alone for now.
Meanwhile, Cameron will ask Sharon what she’s waiting for. But she’ll look at the door, wanting to leave. Cameron will say first she needs to pour that poison into the whiskey bottle. “You will have the satisfaction that for once in your life, you took control. That power will bring you peace.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sharon Envisions All The Fallout
However, Sharon will hesitate to do the deed. “Daniel should have died, not Cassie, and it is time to balance the scales,” Cameron will urge. “Do it Sharon, pour that son of a bitch his final drink.” But Sharon will say she hasn’t thought it through. What if Heather, or even Lucy, take a drink from the poisoned bottle?
“You have the opportunity to finally lay your little girl to rest in peace,” Cameron will reply. “Don’t let her down.” Then Sharon will add poison to the bottle of whiskey. She’ll put it back in the cupboard and Cameron will say she needs to get a move on before someone comes home.
But as she’s about to leave, she’ll pick up a photo of Daniel, Heather and Lucy and envision Heather and Lucy finding Daniel lying on the floor, dead. She’ll realize she doesn’t want to take Daniel away from his family the way Cassie was taken away from her. So, she’ll grab the bottle back out of the cupboard.
“Cassie thought the world of Daniel, I won’t murder him!” she’ll shout. “I’m pouring it out.” Then she’ll knock into a table and some glasses will fall to the ground and break. Sharon will pour out the poisoned liquid and put the empty bottle back in the cupboard. She’ll clean up the broken glass and tell Cameron to go away.
Finally, Sharon will remove her gloves and use one of them to open the door to exit the apartment. And she’ll come face to face with a shocked Heather. But will Heather survive her encounter with Sharon?
