The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, August 13 reveals Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) will make a heartbreaking admission to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).
Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) his idea stinks. Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will make her granddaughter an offer. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will warn Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Y&R spoilers tease Claire will walk into Newman Enterprises and see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) working. She’ll tell her mom she looks so happy. Then she’ll invite her out to lunch and Nikki will show up. “Do you mind if I tag along?” she’ll ask. “I have something I want to discuss with Claire.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Tells Jack That Kyle’s Off The Rails
They’ll head to Society and Claire will tell them Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) custody battle has been pretty ugly. “Let me ask you this, do you regret taking that job?” Nikki will ask. Then she’ll remind Claire she was an excellent assistant. “I would love to have you working by my side again,” Nikki will add. “I could see you moving quickly up the ladder, the sky would be the limit.”
Victoria will mention something about Claire’s crush on Kyle and immediately apologize. Nikki’s eyes will widen and Claire will say they’re just friends. Then she’ll tell her grandmother she’s touched and honored that Nikki would want to work with her again. But she’ll say she can’t leave Harrison right now.
Meanwhile, Phyllis will run into Jack and Harrison at Chancellor Park. She’ll tell Harrison his mommy loves him so much, more than anyone else in the world. Harrison will go and dig for caterpillars and Jack will turn to Phyllis. “You should be ashamed of yourself,” he’ll say.
Jack will ask her if she’s blaming his son for everything. But Phyllis will say Kyle’s off the rails. Jack will refuse to discuss anything further and he’ll head home with Harrison. They’ll play some cards and Claire will arrive.
Harrison will go upstairs for a few minutes and Jack will open up to her. He’ll say Kyle risks doing the same thing to Harrison that was done to him. “Robbing him of his carefree childhood.” And he’ll wonder if Claire should talk to Kyle. “Maybe he’ll listen to you.”
After Jack leaves, Harrison will come downstairs and ask Claire what she’s thinking about. “Is it my mom and dad that you’re thinking about, cause I know they’re mad, even though they try to hide it, probably because of me.” But Claire will tell him his parents aren’t mad at him. “Your mom and your dad, they love you very much,” she’ll add. “You’re not to blame for anything, do you understand that?”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Lily Refuses To Sign Off On Release
At Abbott Chancellor, Billy will tell Lily he’s having second thoughts. “I don’t think I should step away.” Lily will be angry and accuse him of lying to her. But he’ll say it only agreed to it for a moment and that moment is gone.
He’ll say she knew what she was getting into when she agreed to join him. So, he’ll ask her what her real agenda is. But Lily will say she was just trying to protect the company. Then Billy will hand her a drafted press release and ask her to sign off on it.
However, Lily will refuse and Billy will accuse her of not wanting to share power. “You want to run this company on your gut instincts!” Lily will shout and storm off. And she’ll end up at the GCAC bar and will run into Phyllis.
Phyllis will say she heard Lily’s staying behind at Chancellor, to run the company with Billy. Lily will make a face and Phyllis will ask if she’s already regretting that decision. She’ll say she’s known Billy for a very long time. “And he’ll do anything to convince you that up is down and down is up,” Phyllis will add. “Watch out. Because behind all the smoke and mirrors and all that charm is a guy who is only out for himself.”
Finally, Jack will head to Society and join his brother at the bar. Billy will say he’s glad to see him. “I wanted to give you a heads up. I’m adding the Abbott name to Chancellor Industries.” But Jack will say it’s the family company name.
“It’s my name, and it’s my mother’s name,” Billy will reply. “So, technically it is a family company, just not your company.” Jack will say he thinks they should respect Katherine’s legacy. “Well I’m forging a new legacy, so maybe you should start respecting that,” Billy will tell his brother.
