The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, April 21 reveals Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) she doesn’t want him there.
Also coming up, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will argue about work. Plus, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will be honored with a surprise baby shower. And Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will encourage Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to take a plea deal for his client.
Y&R spoilers tease Kyle will walk into the Jabot CEO office, only to find his uncle going over some financials. Billy will ask what’s going on with Marchetti’s numbers. He’ll say his issue is with the warehouses acquired from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). And he’ll anger Kyle when he suggests they merge Jabot and Marchetti.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Mariah And Tessa Are Celebrated
At Society, Mariah and Tessa will think they’re meeting Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) for lunch. But instead, they’ll walk into their baby shower. “Guys, this is awesome!” Mariah will say. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will tell the gathered friends and family that baby Aria honors Mariah and Tessa’s journey together. “I’m really honored to have the three of you in my life,” Sharon will say, raising a champagne glass. “To family.”
Meanwhile, Jack will pay Diane another visit in prison. He’ll ask if there’s anything he can do for her. “Don’t come back,” she’ll tell him. But Jack’s not about to let Diane push away the people who love her. “However long it takes, I will be by your side,” he’ll say. However, Diane will tell him seeing his face doesn’t bring her comfort, it’s a reminder of everything she’s lost. “If you love me, then you have to stay away.”
She’ll go on to say that when she faked her death and disappeared, the only way she could get through it was by shutting down. But Jack will point out that it’s a different situation. “No it isn’t,” she’ll reply. “I’m doing this because I love you too much to put you through what’s ahead.” Then she’ll tell him she doesn’t want him, Kyle or Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) there. “You can’t do this!” a heartbroken Jack will exclaim. He’ll ask how he’s supposed to explain her absence to Harrison. “I want to go back to my cell,” she’ll tell him. After she leaves, a furious Jack will pick up a chair and toss it at the wall.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jack Wants Another Hearing
At Crimson Lights, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will suggest to Christine that they put some pressure on Diane to admit Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) involvement in Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) murder. “Diane will know exactly where Stark’s hiding,” Chance will say. “Did someone mention my client’s name?” Michael will ask as he walks in.
Christine will tell him Diane could save everyone a lot of trouble if she just pled guilty. If Diane gives them Stark, she’ll consider a lighter sentence. Michael will tell her there’s no connection between the two of them. “I think it’s obvious that Stark murdered Phyllis on his own and then framed Diane,” he’ll say. Christine will say she guesses they’re going to trial. “Yes,” Michael will respond. “And you’re gonna lose.” Christine will tell him to contact her when Diane is ready to confess.
Then Jack will burst in. “We need to get Diane another bail hearing,” he’ll say to Michael. “Now.” Jack will ask if there’s any way to convince the judge to change her mind. “Get something done now Michael!” he’ll implore the lawyer. “Diane has to come home!”
