The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, February 8 reveals Devon Winters (Bryton James) will question Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) about his plan.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will make another play for Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will agree to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) having Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as her sponsor.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will spot Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and sarcastically tell her she’s looking lovely. Then Diane will quickly brag that she got a promotion. “I’m running Jabot, all of it, side by side with my husband.”
A bitter Phyllis will ask where karma plays a part. “It’s really impressive though because you got exactly what you went for, didn’t you?” she’ll add. “Jack’s ring on your finger and his company under your thumb.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nikki Has Years Of Trust With Jack
At The Empty Glass, Victor will find Nikki passed out on a table. He’ll wake her up and she’ll lash out at Jack for ratting her out. Then Jack and Victor will lead a stumbling Nikki out of there.
In the car, Victor will ask Nikki why she chose Jack as her sponsor. She’ll explain that Jack has had addiction struggles himself. “Darling, please don’t try to take this from me,” she’ll say. But Victor will say there must be other options. So, Nikki will suggest they go see Jack.
As for Jack, he will return home and flash back to a huge argument he had with Victor, back when he was married to Nikki and she started drinking. Diane will walk in and Jack will tell her what went down. The doorbell will ring and Diane will see Nikki and Victor standing there.
She’ll let them in and make a quick exit. They’ll all sit down and Nikki will tell Jack she understands why he told Victor. Then she’ll tell her husband she needs a sponsor she can have faith in. “I have years of trust with Jack,” she’ll say. “
Y&R Daily Scoop – Daniel Thinks They’ll Remain Friends
“I know this is upsetting to you, but you can’t help me inside the program.” Victor will say he disagrees with her choice. However, he’ll abide by it. “But Jack one thing I can tell you, if anything happens to Nikki, you will have hell to pay.”
Meanwhile, Devon will spot Daniel at the coffee shop and he’ll ask if he’s told Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) yet. But Daniel will say he’s waiting until Lily’s emotionally ready for the news.
“So the plan is to just keep cheating on her until the time comes?” Devon will ask. Daniel will say he and Heather have put things on hold until he talks to Lily. “I’d say you’re just afraid to have that conversation with her,” Devon will reply.
“You need to understand that you’re putting me in a very difficult position, cause I’m also keeping your secret.” But Daniel will say he cares deeply for Lily and intends to remain friends with her after all this.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Wants To Be There For Phyllis
Devon will roll his eyes and ask how Heather feels about it, and Daniel will defend her. “Does it make you feel like a hero to defend your ex when you’re cheating on Lily?” Devon will ask. “Are you really in any place where you can stand here and pass judgement right now?” Daniel will reply.
He’ll bring up Devon’s own cheating scandal. And Devon will say he understands where he’s coming from, but he doesn’t want to see his sister get hurt, because she’s been through enough.
Then Daniel will go home and find his father waxing poetic on the piano. He’ll ask Danny how it’s going with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). So, Danny will tell him he’s torn between wanting a relationship with Christine and wanting to be there for Phyllis.
Daniel will notice his father’s passion when he talks about Phyllis. Then he’ll make his own confession. “Heather and I are back together.” Danny will ask if Lily knows about it and he’ll say she doesn’t.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Just Wants A Chance
The doorbell will ring and not surprisingly, Phyllis will be standing there. Daniel’s phone will ring, it’s Lily calling. He’ll answer and talk to her out in the hallway. And the lying cheater will have the nerve to tell Lily he misses her.
Phyllis will walk into the apartment and shut the door. “It’s meant so much to me, just being able to talk and laugh,” she’ll say, moving close to Danny. She’ll s admit she’s done terrible things but she’s taken responsibility for them. “If you give me a chance, I’ll give you something that you didn’t even know you needed.”
Finally, Danny will make his escape when Daniel walks in. But he’ll be surprised to run into Christine, as she gets off the elevator. Inside, Daniel will ask Phyllis what she thinks she’s doing. She’ll say maybe she and Danny are meant to be together. “Maybe we’re kismet, just like you and Heather.”
