Young And The Restless Scoop October 8: Daniel Learns Paul Had A Heart Attack In Lisbon – Traci Asks Alan To Move In – Victor Taunts Jack

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, October 8 reveals Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will get even more bad news.

Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will watch as Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) argue. Plus, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) will return. And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will ask Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) out to dinner.

Y&R spoilers tease Traci and Alan will be back from Paris. When they walk into the Abbott estate, Jack will say it’s nice to have some smiling faces in the house. Traci will tell  her brother their sister’s doing well and should be released in time for Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) wedding.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor Suggests Jack Should Control Himself

She and Alan will head to the Athletic Club for a bite to eat and they’ll discuss his living arrangements. “Why don’t you move in with me, permanently?” Traci will ask. Alan will say he doesn’t want to crowd her or annoy her family. But when she reassures him, he’ll say he thinks it’s a wonderful idea.

At another table, Victor will fill Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) in on his ownership of Glissade and he needs a lawyer. “So, you screwed over Tucker, you poached Kyle from Jabot, thereby sticking it to Jack,” he’ll reply. “You’re on a roll, what could you possibly need an attorney for?”

Victor will say Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) stole a plan for a product from Jabot and gave it to him, in exchange for him firing Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). “That action sounds suspiciously like corporate theft,” Michael will say. Then Jack and Diane will walk in and they’ll spot Victor.

At their table, the couple will start arguing loudly and Jack will ask what’s wrong. “You are so preoccupied being stuck in a room with Victor Newman that you can’t see it’s our son who’s trying to destroy our family,” she’ll reply. But when Jack defends Kyle, Diane will storm away. “She’s your friend,” Victor will say to Michael. “Go check on her.”

As for Victor, he’ll approach Jack and tell him he should control himself, it’s unbecoming to have an argument in a public place. Then he’ll ask what his father would have thought about it. “I know what you’re trying to do Victor, it’s not gonna work,” Jack will reply.

At Daniel’s place, he’ll tell Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) he hasn’t heard from whoever has Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) phone. Chance will ask what Heather’s demeanor was like before she took off. So, Daniel will tell him about Lucy’s drinking, the car accident and the fact that Sharon got really angry with all of them. “She ordered us to keep Lucy away from Faith,” he’ll add. “She came after Heather more than once.”

Meanwhile, Sharon will flash back to dumping Heather’s body in the river. Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will appear and tell her she needs to call the cops and tell them about the evidence at Daniel’s place. Then she’ll have a vision of Nick and as she’s about to kiss him, Cameron will reappear. “Nice try,” he’ll say. “But you still have work to do.”

At Crimson Lights, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will tell Nick and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) she’s not sure Sharon turned a corner. “What if she’s just gotten better at hiding what’s really going on?” So, Nick will tell them he’s going to keep an eye on Sharon.

Out on the patio, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will worry about Daniel. When he arrives, he’ll say he wonders if someone intentionally hurt Heather. “None of it adds up.” Then he’ll get a call and find out Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) had a heart attack. He’ll add that Paul’s recovering, but won’t be able to make it back for Heather’s service.

Summer will head to Society and tell a shocked Chance that Paul had a heart attack. Then they’ll discuss Heather and Chance will say there are a lot of questions and not enough answers. She’ll ask what his gut is telling him. Chance will say he wonders if Heather went to meet someone who knows her well. “What are you saying, that she was seeing someone else?” she’ll ask.

Back at the coffee shop, Phyllis and Daniel will head inside and Nick, Faith and Mariah will express their condolences. Then Sharon will walk inside and eavesdrop. Nick will ask Daniel how Paul’s doing. “Paul had a heart attack,” Daniel will tell him. Sharon will audibly gasp from where she’s standing. But she’ll approach and tell Daniel to please pass her best wishes along to Paul.

Finally, after everyone heads out, Nick will ask Sharon if she’d like to have dinner with him tonight. Sharon will say she’d love to. “Good then, it’s a date,” Nick will reply. And Sharon will beam from ear to ear.
