The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, May 25 suggests Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will refuse to let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) see their son.
Also coming up, Amanda Sinclair (Karla Mosley) will question her mother and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will have good news for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Plus, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will take Chelsea’s statement.
Spoilers tease Amanda will tell Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) that a recent interview she conducted raised a lot of questions. She’ll say Richard Nealon had been looking for his child two weeks before he died and she needs answers.

Naya will comment that she never told Richard she was pregnant. Amanda will tell them a source said “he took a leave of absence” from Newman to search for his child. Naya will remind her she has one job – to clear Sutton Ames (Jack Landron). “You keep saying you had no contact with Richard after you broke it off – were you being honest?” Amanda will ask.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will walk into the coffee shop, only to find Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) waiting. They go off to do their homework together. Mariah will arrive and Sharon will tell her Rey moved back in. Mariah will say she’s relieved. Sharon will tell Mariah her support has meant everything to her.
Meanwhile, Michael and Rey will interview Chelsea about the poisoning. She’ll recount the whole sordid tale, emphasizing that when Adam brought in Sharon to help her, it motivated her to recover. She’ll also say she did it all on her own. When they leave, Michael will say Chelsea and her lawyer are going to use a diminished capacity defense and he’s not going to oppose it.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Rey Rosales Will Forgive But He Won’t Forget
Rey will then walk back into her room and tell her Adam and Sharon didn’t have an affair. “I am confident that nothing happened,” he’ll say. Chelsea will counter that they flaunted their relationship in front of her. But she’ll eventually break down and talk about how she’s a terrible person. Rey will tell her he forgives her for what she did. However, later he’ll tell Sharon he’s still suspicious.
A few minutes later, Chelsea’s doctor will tell her she has a visitor – it’s Adam. She’ll be furious to see him. Adam will tell her their son “doesn’t have a parent he can count on. Let me be a father again.” Chelsea will shout “no” at Adam. “I am not letting you see my son before I do.” But her doctor will walk in and tell her she needs to do the right thing. Will Chelsea relent?
