The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, August 23 suggests Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) has big plans after the Newman Locke merger.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) worry about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) starts working on a design and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) asks Billy what he’s up to.
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will run into Billy at Crimson Lights. He’ll tell him he has a lot of the same concerns Billy does about Ashland. “Something is not right with this picture,” Nick will say. Why do they have to make it official? Why can’t they just spend time together?”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sally Spectra Does Some Eavesdropping
Nick will ask him if he’s looked into Ashland’s background yet. Billy will return to the office and start digging. Lily will walk in and ask him what he’s doing. He’ll lie and say he’s working on a story they discussed. “Oh wait, I know, you’re turning up rocks with Ashland Locke’s name on them,” Lily will say. “Trying to find some heinous, unforgiveable sin that he’s done that Victoria can’t forgive. So that you can stop the wedding.”
Speaking of Ashland, he will ask Victoria how the wedding plans are progressing. He’ll say everything is set for the Newman Locke merger, which will be finalized in a month. Then he’ll show her drawings for something he’s come up with – Newman Locke Towers. “I love the idea of identical towers dominating the skyline for the century to come,” he’ll say. Victoria will say “it’s great” but will also seem upset.
She’ll then head to Society to meet with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). She’ll mention that Nick is reserving judgement on her wedding. “Why can’t Nick just be happy for me?” she’ll moan. But she’ll stop there and start describing her wedding dress to Nikki, as Sally eavesdrops and takes detailed notes. Victoria wants Angelina Marchetti to design it.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Ashland Locke Asks For A Favor
Other spoilers show Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take issue with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Plus, Ashland will apologize to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for his past behavior. “Maybe you’ll help me win over your boyfriend,” he’ll suggest, after he makes nice.
Finally, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will find Sally at Chancellor Park. She’ll ask her what she’s working on. Sally say some story ideas. But Chloe will tell Sally she knows she’s hiding something. “I’m going to convince Victoria to let me design her wedding dress,” she’ll admit. Chloe will laugh and say there’s no way Victoria is going to let Sally near her wedding plans. However, that will make Sally more determined than ever, but will she succeed?
