The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, October 23 suggests Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will eavesdrop on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) conversation.
Also, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will run into a distraught Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will discuss their daughter. Plus, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will turn down Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) invitation.
At Crimson Lights, Elena will give Lola the scoop on her breakup with Devon. She will mention that Devon had been spending a lot of time with Hilary’s twin Amanda. “It made me feel forgotten,” Elena will say. “And Nate was so reassuring and supportive.” Then she’ll tell Lola she slept with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Lola will be surprised but then she’ll ask Elena to move in with her.

Speaking of Amanda, she will tell Devon she can’t go to New York with him. But she will offer to listen any time he needs someone to talk to. As she’s about to leave the penthouse, Devon will ask: “Hey Amanda. The offer you just made, how about now?”

Other spoilers tease Nate will tell someone on the phone that he doesn’t know what his future holds until he consults with his doctor. “What does it feel like?” he’ll say. “Like I got my hand sliced open.” Elena will show up at the clinic later and tell him she’s quitting. “It’s over – all of it,” she’ll tell Nate.
Finally, Adam will approach Rey at Crimson Lights and tell him he hears congratulations are in order. “I hear an arrest warrant may be in order for you,” Rey will reply. Adam will then try to goad Rey by telling him “you met Sharon, what, 10 minutes ago? You’re never gonna know her the way that I do.”

Rey will call him a sociopath and tell Adam he’s got a fiancé he’s gaslighting and memories of someone who no longer exists. “Because the Sharon you knew, the one you can’t seem to get over, she is gone man. She’s not hung up on a loser with no impulse control.” Adam will counter by saying he and Sharon always find their way back to each other.
As Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) listens in on their conversation, Rey will ask him if Chelsea is his back up plan. Adam will say he doesn’t need one. “You are nothing more than a port in a storm till she realizes where she belongs.”
Rey will return home and present Sharon with an engagement ring. Then they’ll set a wedding date for New Year’s Eve. When Adam arrives home, he’ll find Chelsea’s bag by the door. She’ll tell him she heard every word he said at Crimson Lights. “This is goodbye Adam,” Chelsea will say. “I am officially and forever done.”
