The Young And The Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 1 suggest Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will lose it when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) tells her she uninvited her brother to the wedding.
Also coming up, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will argue and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will wonder where his future lies. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has no regrets .
Y&R spoilers tease Mariah will continue to berate Tessa for spilling the beans to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). “It should have stayed between us,” she’ll say. Tessa will say she had to talk to someone as she’d tried to talk to her about the baby issue but she doesn’t want to hear what she has to say. Then she’ll say she backed down because she didn’t want to disappoint her. Tessa will suggest they table their discussion until they return home from Italy.

Meanwhile, Nick will show up at the Abbott estate. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will ask him what happened. “The one thing I can tell you for sure is that Victoria is making a terrible mistake,” he’ll respond.” Nick will spill everything he found out and will tell Phyllis he’s been uninvited to Victoria’s wedding. She’ll feel like it’s her fault because she encouraged him. “It was completely my decision and I have zero regrets,” Nick will tell her. “I did what I thought was right.”
At Society, Ashland will try to drink his sorrows away at the bar. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will approach him and ask him if everything is okay. Ashland will tell him some things about his past have come to light. “So what does this mean?” Nate will ask. “Is the wedding still happening? Ashland will say he’s not sure. All he knows is that his resurrected past could threaten his future with Victoria.
Speaking of his bride to be, Nikki will ask Victoria what’s wrong. “I finally know who Ashland is,” she’ll tell her mother. “who he really is.” Then she’ll explain that she found out he took the name of a friend who died when they were in car accident. The disappointing thing is the only reason he told her was because he was backed into a corner.

Nikki will assume it was Billy. She’ll tell Victoria she had a run-in with him earlier. “Not Billy, no mom it was much worse,” she’ll reply. “It was Nicholas.” Of course, Nikki will defend him and say Nick just wants her to be happy. “I told him not to bother coming to the wedding,” Victoria will say. Nikki will warn her that the way she feels now won’t be how she feels in a week. “You are going to wish that he was by your side.”
Finally, Ashland will show up at Newman, only to find Victoria has left. Nikki will tell him they don’t need to dance around the issues. “Victoria told me everything.” He’ll tell her he’s going to be staying at the Grand Phoenix until Victoria reaches out to him. As he’s about to get onto the elevator, Victoria will say his name and he’ll turn around. But has she made a decision?
