The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, December 4 reveals Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will decide they need answers.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be obsessed with the liquor cabinet at the ranch. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t like what she sees. And Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will plead with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to return to Chancellor Winters.
Y&R spoilers tease Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will let Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) listen to his latest song and he’ll ask what she thinks. “It’s beautiful,” she’ll say. “Like the lady herself,” Danny will reply. But when he tells her not only did she inspire it, but so did Phyllis, Christine will be shocked. He’ll say he’s seen how Phyllis is trying to be a better person.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will grill Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) about Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Then Phyllis will walk in and ask what they’re talking about. Summer will lie and say it was Marchetti business but Phyllis won’t believe her. As is her usual modus operandi, she’ll whine that Summer still doesn’t trust her. So, Summer will admit they were talking about Chance.
Summer will say she’s struggling between possibly working things out with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) “and wanting Chance so badly, that it makes me dizzy sometimes.” But unfortunately, he’s unattainable. “Nothing is unattainable, if you want it badly,” Phyllis will reply. “I want you to follow your heart.” Then Summer will ask her mom if anything’s going on with her love life, and she’ll suggest they dish about it at lunch. However, when they walk into the GCAC, they’ll see Danny pulling Christine in for a smooch.
At Society, Jill will tell Billy she’s sure Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) is coming after her. She’ll add that Mamie teamed up with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). She’ll say Mamie wants her family working with her. “How content are you at Jabot right now?” Jill will ask Billy. “I have to bring in some of my own family.” Then she’ll ask Billy to come work with her at Chancellor Winters. But when Billy turns her down, she’ll plead with him.
At the ranch, the Newman family will discuss their ordeal. And Nikki will stare at the fully stocked bar. She’ll flash back to chugging vodka at the lake house and she’ll look alarmed. They’ll talk about what Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) put Nikki through, but she won’t want to dwell on it. “We all suffered, we are all victims,” Nikki will say. “And now that the vodka has left my system, I am feeling much stronger.” Nikki will say the worst part was falling for Claire’s deception and Victor will say both women will pay a huge price.

“I almost feel sorry for Claire,” Victoria will say. “She’s been trained by Jordan to hate us and her whole life was ruined.” A shocked Nikki will tell her Claire is a heartless sociopath. “How can you feel anything but contempt for her?” Victor will pour himself a drink, while Nikki watches longingly, and he’ll tell Victoria he agrees with Nikki. But Victoria will say she was raised by a psychotic woman and thought their whole family abandoned her. “Jordan is obviously the evil one, not Claire.”
So Victor will look up Jordan online. “That woman is Eve Howard’s sister and she was a registered nurse.” He’ll also learn Jordan was a nurse at Memorial during the time that Victoria gave birth to baby Eve. But she disappeared shortly after the baby died. “That can’t be true,” Victoria will say to Cole. “Jordan can’t be telling the truth about stealing our daughter, can she?”
Cole will say he doesn’t know what to think. “When Jordan said she’d stolen our baby from the hospital, the look in Claire’s eyes…” He’ll add that he doesn’t think it was a con on Claire’s part. As they discuss it, Victoria will become upset. “We’re talking about this as if it could be true, that Jordan stole her,” she’ll say. “I’m sorry, I can’t wrap my brain around any of this.” Victoria will storm off and Cole will follow her. “Do you think Jordan was telling the truth?” Nikki will ask Victor. “That Claire could be Victoria and Cole’s daughter?”
Finally, Cole and Victoria will go for coffee and she’ll ask how he even knew to show up at the house. He’ll say he got a text from Nikki saying she was sick and asking for him. “The loss of a child, it’s not something you just get over,” Victoria will say. “Do you think it’s possible that Claire is our daughter, we only thought we buried?” Cole will tell her they need to find out, one way or the other. “And I think that starts with facing Claire again.”
