The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, January 15 reveals Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will try to convince Jordan (Colleen Zenk) she’s seen the light.
Also coming up, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will make a big decision. Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will dole out some advice. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will run into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Y&R spoilers tease Adam will run into Sally at Society. They’ll have the same conversation about how much he hurt her and screwed up. Then she’ll bring up he and Chelsea’s history. He’ll tell her he’s giving up his apartment and moving into his father’s old house. “And I asked Chelsea to come too.”
At Crimson Lights, Billy will tell Chelsea he’s not backing down on his revenge plot against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). So, she’ll share with him that she may move into the ranch with Adam and her son.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Billy Gives Chelsea A Warning About Adam
“It makes a lot of sense for Connor, he’s going to have both his parents under the same roof,” Billy will say. So, he’ll ask if she’s going to do it and she’ll say she is. But Billy will warn her not to let Adam manipulate her.
Chelsea will eventually end up at Society with Adam, to tell him she’s going to move to the ranch. “Connor will have both his mom and dad at his new home.” But she’ll remind him she’s doing this for their son. “This is gonna be so good for all of us,” Adam will reply.
Meanwhile, Jordan will tell Claire her instincts are still sharp as a shiv. “I called the prison, to see if you were still there, they told me nothing had changed,” she’ll reply. Jordan will tell her she’s been around, keeping an eye on her.
“I’m lost here,” Claire will admit. “Aunt Jordan, they do such horrible things. They use their power and their money and they just manipulate to get whatever they want.” Jordan will say she told her what they were like.
“I didn’t listen to you and now I am more alone than ever,” Claire will say. But Jordan will tell her she doesn’t look lost. “It may seem that way but all I do all day is smile and laugh at their jokes. I play along because what other choice is there?”
Claire will add that she sees her parents and the whole Newman family for who they really are. “Maybe you were protecting me all along.” Jordan will say she’s waited months to hear those words. “I kept hoping you were feeling remorse and anger and fury and wanting our life back together.”

However, she’ll also bring up the fact that Claire never wrote, called or visited her in prison. “The question is, have you really seen the light?” But Claire will point out she followed her to the park alone and didn’t call the police. “You’re the only person I can really trust,” she’ll add. “When I saw you I realized I’d been waiting for this.”
Claire will ask if Jordan came back for a second chance or to get revenge on the Newman’s for taking her in. “Which one is it?” Claire will inquire. “It’s all up to you, precious,” Jordan will reply. She’ll ask about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire will gush a little bit over him. However, she’ll also say she doesn’t feel like she belongs with the Abbotts either.
Then Jordan will want to how she doesn’t fit in with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck). “You’re their angel.” But Claire will say she’s not. “I see Victoria with Katie and Johnny, the way that she knows them and they know her,” she’ll add. “I’ll never have that, not with anyone but you.”
Finally, Jordan will tell Claire it sounds like she’s having an existential crisis. “I never let myself think these things,” she’ll reply. “I don’t think I can pretend anymore. I’m not sure I can hold on much longer.”
So, Jordan will hold out her arms to her niece. And Claire will run towards her and they’ll embrace. But is Claire truly on Jordan’s side, or is she just playing her?
