The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, November 9 reveals Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will make a confession to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Also coming up, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will ask Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) out to dinner. Plus, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) won’t like what she sees. And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will tell Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) she wants to fight for their relationship.
Y&R spoilers tease Victoria will walk into the Athletic Club and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will ask if she’s looking for somebody. She’ll admit she’s looking for Nate but he’s not there. They’ll have a drink and Victoria will say Nate was completely blindsided and so was she. “He thinks I threw him under the bus and that I sided with Adam.” But Nick will point out she did side with their brother.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victoria Says She’ll Talk To Her Father
Nick will admit he’s not sorry Nate’s gone from Newman Enterprises, but he is sorry she’s hurting. Victoria will say she wants to help Nate get his job back but Nick will say their father has already offered it to him, although he’s not sure if he wants it. Then Victoria will tell him she’s going to head down to the Jazz Club to listen to some music.
Speaking of the Jazz Club, Devon Winters (Bryton James) will walk in, spot his cousin and ask if he’s okay. “That is the million dollar question, or multimillion, considering the circumstances,” Nate will reply. But he’ll say he doesn’t want to get into it. Devon will tell him he’d like to turn things around in the silent war they’ve been having for the last few years. “I know that you’ve been making an effort with me and I think that it’s time for me to start making more of an effort with you.”
But Nate will ask Devon what changed. He’ll say it started with Mamie (Veronica Redd), which made he and his sister think about how their father would have handled the situation. “I can hear his voice in my head saying give the man a chance.” Then Victoria will interrupt. “I’ve been looking all over for you,” she’ll say to Nate. “Can we talk, please?”
But Nate will tell her he has nothing to say to her. Devon will say they can do it another time and he’ll leave. Victoria will tell Nate she’ll talk to her father. “When it came time to choose sides, he chose Adam, of all people,” Nate will reply. “When it came time for you to have my back you chose him instead, because he’s family.” He’ll say he should have known that when it comes down to it, the Newmans will always circle the wagons to protect themselves.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sharon Will Not Look Happy
Victoria will ask if there was a small part of him that saw it as an opportunity for them to take control of Newman again. But he’ll say no, he saw it as an opportunity for her to take control. “We can salvage this,” she’ll tell him. “I don’t think I want to salvage this,” Nate will reply. Victoria will say she wants to fight for him. But Nate will say his aunt warned him he’d always be an outsider to the Newmans. “So maybe this is a wake up call. For me to work on reconnecting with my family.”
Meanwhile, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi) will tell Sharon that Chance’s prognosis is good. Sharon will walk into his hospital room and inform Christine and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) doctors think Chance can make a full recovery. Elena will poke her head in the door and suggest they take a break. The women will head to Crimson Lights and when Danny walks in, they’ll tell him Chance was shot. Elena will text Sharon and Nina and they’ll go back to the hospital. Then Danny will get a text from his son, canceling their dinner, so he’ll ask Christine out. She’ll say yes, but will make it clear it’s not a date.
Back at the hospital, Summer will arrive. She’ll sit by Chance and tell him to wake up and let her know he’s going to be okay. “I wasn’t prepared for this,” an emotional Summer will say. “When I heard that you got shot, I got this feeling in the pit of my stomach, what if I never saw you again? You gotta get through this because I can’t bear the thought of losing you.”
Finally, Chance will wake up and smile, when he sees Summer sitting at his bedside. She’ll hold his hand and beam at him, just as Sharon returns. And she won’t look happy at all.
