The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, August 16 reveals Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will tell Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) he needs answers.
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will get angry with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will give Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) a talking to. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be suspicious of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Y&R spoilers tease when Audra arrives at Newman Enterprises Victor will ask her if there’s anything he did to provoke Summer. “I would like the answer to that too,” Kyle will say, as he walks in. “So let me get this right?” Audra will reply. “I am a danger to a child I don’t even know?” And she’ll say she didn’t do anything to Summer.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor Tells Kyle Not To Make Him Regret It
So, Victor will take her word for it and will tell Audra he wants her and Kyle to plan a launch party. Audra will suggest a flashy celebration, but Kyle will disagree. He’ll say it needs to be classy and an invite only event. An irate Victor will tell them to figure it out, or there will be consequences.
As Audra gets up to leave, Kyle will say he needs to talk to Victor about his custody battle. After Audra’s gone, he’ll tell Victor not to worry about Audra, he’ll handle her. “Don’t make me regret hiring you,” The Mustache will tell him.
Then he’ll tell Victor he offered to keep he and Summer’s joint custody arrangement in place. But Summer insisted he has to cut Audra out of his life. So, Victor will ask Kyle if it was Summer’s or his idea. “This was Summer’s idea,” he’ll reply.
Speaking of Summer, she’ll tell Phyllis that after meeting with Kyle, she trusts him even less than she did before. She’ll add that her ex-husband wouldn’t give any ground when she asked him to cut Audra out of his life. “I’m just going to tell you realistically, I’m not sure that Kyle can do that,” Phyllis will say. Then she’ll ask how he reacted.
“He accused me of trying to control his life,” Summer will reply. “He’s so attached to this idea of working with her.” But Phyllis will ask if she’s so dead set on it because her ex could be moving on with someone else. Summer will say she has no attachment to Kyle. “You think that I’m jealous of Audra?!” a shocked Summer will ask.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Connor Says Hello To Sally And Billy
Meanwhile, Billy and Sally will be in shock, after overhearing Adam and Chelsea say how guilty they felt about “that one night.” But before they get a chance to confront their partners, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will come along and say hello to Sally and Billy.
Chelsea will nervously ask what they’re doing there. Sally will say they wanted to surprise Connor. He’ll tell them it’s great to see them but he’s tired, so Adam and Chelsea will take him home. “You heard what I heard?” Sally will ask Billy after they leave. “Maybe you were right, maybe something did happen between them.” But Billy will say he doesn’t want to jump to conclusions until they can get answers.
At Crimson Lights, Chelsea will ask Adam if Billy and Sally heard what they said. “Did you see the looks on their faces?” she’ll ask him. “When I looked up and I saw Billy standing there, my heart was in my throat, I have a really bad feeling.”
Adam will tell her to make Billy believe otherwise. But Chelsea will say she doesn’t know if she can keep blocking out what happened between them, not to mention lying to Billy about it. Then Billy will walk in and tell Chelsea they need to talk. Adam will say he’s not sure if it’s a good time. But Billy will tell him he needs to talk to her in private.
Chelsea will try to make small talk after Adam leaves. However, Billy will tell her to stop. He’ll say he knows he promised to let it go but he needs answers. “I overheard you at the park, something about the tension and the guilt from that one night and I can’t let that go,” Billy will add. “Whatever it is, you gotta tell me.”
Finally, Adam will return home and act as though Sally didn’t overhear anything. She’ll be curt with him, as he talks about how happy Connor is. But will Sally confront him about Chelsea?
