The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, April 11 reveals Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) family will be shocked when she collapses.
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) he deserves to be co-CEO. Plus, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will tell the Abbott’s that Ashley desperately needs professional help. And Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will hit the nail on the head.
Y&R spoilers tease inside her head, Ash will tell Ashley to wake up, saying they’re running out of time. And Ashley’s family will be shocked when she yells, “Stop!” out loud. Ashley will tell Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) she’s being held hostage in her own home. “You say you love me then get them to back off!” she’ll shout at her sister.

Then Sharon will call Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) back. He’ll say they have a family emergency and ask her to come out to the house. But Ashley will ask why they’re bringing in another outsider and Jack will say they could use her expertise. “In what?” Ashley will reply. “Pouring coffee, handing out muffins?”
In the white room, Ash will shout at Ashley to wake up and she finally will. But in the Abbott living room, Ashley will close her eyes and put her hands on her head as she shakes it back and forth. Then she’ll collapse on the couch. “What’s going on?” she’ll ask her family when she wakes up.
Jack will tell her she’s in their home, with everyone who loves her. “Why are you all standing there like something’s wrong with me?” she’ll ask. “How did I get here?” Billy will say they should let Ashley have a break, she’s had another blackout. “You told them?” Ashley will say to Traci. And she’ll admit to Ashley she did.
The doorbell will ring and Jack will let Sharon in. “Why are you here Sharon, is it because of me?” Ashley will ask her. She’ll say she’s there as a friend. However, Ashley will say she’s exhausted and needs to lie down.
Billy will say it’s a good idea. So, Traci will take her upstairs. After Traci gets her a quilt and tries to calm her down, Ashley will take her hand. “I’m so scared,” she’ll tell her sister. “I need help.”
Meanwhile, Ashley’s alters will argue in the white room. Ash will gloat that she finally got Ashley to wake up. But Ms. Abbott will say they’re going to end up in a straightjacket. “You’ve ruined everything!” she’ll shout at Ash.

Back in the Abbott living room, Jack and Billy will tell Sharon about everything that went down and she’ll say she’s sorry. Then Traci will come downstairs and tell Sharon the blackouts are frightening Ashley. She’ll add that her sister came home one morning and couldn’t remember where she’d been the night before.
“It’s as if we’re dealing with two Ashley’s,” Traci will tell Sharon. “Or maybe it’s more than that,” Billy will add. He’ll talk about his run-in with Ashley at Society, like he’d had a conversation with a teenager. But he didn’t want to project his own experience.
He’ll say he had blackouts too, shortly after Delia died, and was treated for Dissociative Identity Disorder. Jack will ask Sharon if it’s a possibility. She’ll say it could be but this is far too serious for guesswork. So, she’ll tell them she’s going to make some calls. “Ashley needs to see a professional right away.”
At the Jazz Club, Summer and Kyle will talk about hunting for a nanny. “There is one person, just not someone that we’ve interviewed,” Kyle will say, adding that Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) really clicked. Summer will tell him she doesn’t trust Claire.
But Kyle will say it was just an observation. He wasn’t pushing her to be a nanny candidate. “Good, because it is never going to be her,” Summer will reply. Then she’ll ask what’s upsetting him and he’ll admit he’s having a hard time constantly covering for his mother.
“Back off and let her screw up or do I try to clean up after her in some low key way?” he’ll ask Summer. But Summer will say he can either walk away or prove what everyone already knows, that it’s him, not Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) who deserves to be co-CEO. “Can you really afford to have Diane in this position of power without the ability to handle it?”
Finally, Kyle tell Summer she’s right, it’s never going to work. “I need to walk away or take what should have been mine in the first place.” But which option will he choose?
