The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, July 27 reveals Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will be livid with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will encounter Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will pretend he’s upset with his brother. And Jack will run into Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Y&R spoilers tease Summer and Kyle will literally run into each other. They’ll make small talk and Audra will show up. “You know Audra, your agenda is super clear,” Summer will tell her. Then she’ll turn to Kyle and tell him his affair with Audra is just an escape. But he’ll say he’s no longer her concern. Summer will ask Audra if she’s loving the situation. “No, I could care less,” she’ll reply. “But I will say this, I think it’s kind of sad that you’re showing how controlling you are.”

At the GCAC, Jack will tell the maître de everything needs to be perfect. He’ll spot Phyllis and say she owes him some answers. “How could you do this, after everything that we’ve been through?” Phyllis will admit he has every right to be angry with her. “I just want to know if you can find it in your heart to forgive me, like you did Diane,” Phyllis will say, adding she plans to make amends. “Don’t!” he’ll shout. “You’ve done quite enough.”
“That went well,” Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will say. He’ll remind her that Carson (Walter Belenky) may not show up at her trial. “If you’re not going to fulfill your end of the bargain, I don’t know what good you are to me.” Then Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) will show up and tell Phyllis she’s torn between being thrilled that she’s okay and wanting to throttle her for putting them all through this. Then the women will embrace.
Meanwhile, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will gloat to Ashley that she and Jack are going to the courthouse to get married today. “One last ditch effort to get your hooks into my brother, before it’s too late?” Ashley will ask. But Diane will tell her it was Jack’s romantic idea. Ashley will warn Diane there’s no scenario where this ends well for her.
Jack will return home, followed shortly by Kyle. Diane and Jack will tell their son they are headed to the courthouse to get married and want him to join them. “Why the rush?” Kyle will ask. “I can’t help but feel like outside forces are motivating a move like this.”

But Diane will say they hope he’ll join them. However, he has back to back meetings at Newman Media. When they ask him to rearrange his schedule, Kyle will say he wishes he could, but he can’t. However, instead of actually attending any meetings, Kyle will convince Audra to go back to her hotel suite to have sex.
At Chancellor Park, Billy will tell Tucker and Ashley that Jack and Diane are getting married today. He’ll say he thinks Jack is crossing the line with this move. “I guarantee you he doesn’t have a prenup,” Billy will tell them. He’ll admit that Jack and Diane’s rush to the altar has him questioning everything else now. “I worry about Jabot,” he’ll add. “OMG, this is such a relief,” Ashley will say as she hugs Billy. “So you finally see it. Jack is an idiot.”
Finally, Billy will rush over to the Abbott estate, where Diane and Jack are ready to get married. He’ll tell them he saw Ashley and Tucker. “I don’t know if they’re going to bite or not but they are poised.” Then Ashley and Tucker will walk in. Jack will say they are welcome to join he and Diane at their civil ceremony. “This just proves what I’ve been saying all along,” Ashley will say. “You have completely lost your mind. And thank God Billy agrees with me.” Jack will ask Billy if that’s true. “This is a mistake, you shouldn’t be going through with this,” he’ll reply.
