The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, February 29 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will accuse Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) of telling him how to parent his own son.
Also coming up, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will give Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) some well deserved tough love. Plus, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will learn surprising news. And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will welcome Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to the Newman ranch.
Y&R spoilers tease Mariah will tell Kyle her wife loves working at Society. She’ll also mention her daughter and her new job working with her mother. Then she’ll ask Kyle how he’s doing. “Things are great for you while you work with your mom,” he’ll reply. “Meanwhile, part of me wishes I could still steal my mom’s job right out from underneath her.”

Kyle will say he was the one who insisted his mom be given the co-CEO position. “And the regret is driving me crazy.” But Mariah won’t indulge his pity party. “You’re saying you’re just a poor innocent victim?” she’ll ask her friend. “You have made your choices every step of the way and you have to own them.”
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria will walk into Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) office. “I’m here to tell you I’m not going to fight you anymore on this plan of yours,” she’ll tell her father. “You win.” Then Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) will arrive and say he has news. “The judge has agreed to remand Claire to Victoria and Cole’s custody.”
Victoria will be happy for Claire but she’ll turn to Victor and remind him he promised to protect her. “I want her staying with me at my home.” But Victor will say no, they should both come to the ranch. So, Victoria will agree to it, temporarily.
At the hospital, Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will arrive to tell Claire the good news. She’ll be excited but also scared. “What about Jordan, she’s somewhere out there.” Victoria and Cole will tell her she doesn’t have to worry about it, they’ll be there for her. Claire will ask where she’ll be living and Victoria will say she wanted her to live at her house. But Victor thinks she should live at Newman ranch.
“You’ll be coming to the ranch as a Newman, you’ll be living someplace where you’re loved and cared for,” Victoria will tell her. They’ll take her to the ranch and Claire will say she can’t believe she’s really there. “This is only the first step of your homecoming,” Victoria will say. “But Claire, you are home.” And she’ll embrace her daughter.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jordan Pretends It’s Nikki Calling
Meanwhile, Jordan will continue to hang out at the Empty Glass Lounge. She’ll send Seth a text. “I’m worried about my old friend Nikki, any news?” But Jordan will get frustrated that he hasn’t gotten back to her. So, she’ll call to the hospital, identifying herself as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). And she’ll be shocked to learn that Claire has been released.
At Chancellor Winters, Billy will tell Devon he needs to leave town for a couple of days, he’s going with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) to see Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Devon will say it’s no problem. But Billy wants one provision while he’s away. He’ll ask if Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) can be his replacement while he’s away. Devon won’t like it but he’ll agree to it.
So, Billy will meet up with Chelsea, who will be freaking out. “I know this is difficult but you’re gonna get through it,” he’ll say. “And I’ll be with you every step of the way.” Then Adam will walk in and tell Chelsea they can take his car. “Has Billy come to see you off?” he’ll ask. But Billy will say he’s driving Chelsea.
“Why are you going?” Adam will ask. And he’ll tell Chelsea it’s a private family matter. “Someone from the outside could make things worse.” But Chelsea will tell him Billy can help put Connor at ease. Billy will say they all need to be on the same page about this. “And the last thing I need is for you to tell me how to parent my own son,” Adam will reply.
Finally, Billy will tell Adam to take it easy, he’s just looking out for Connor. “You think I’m not looking out for my son?” a furious Adam will respond. Chelsea will walk over to them. “You know what Connor doesn’t need right now?” she’ll tell them. “He doesn’t need to feel the tension between you two!” Chelsea will add that if they can’t control themselves, maybe they should both stay home.
