Young And The Restless: Adam tells Nick he's offering Sally nothing

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, May 11 reveals Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will not be happy about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) offer to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Also coming up, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei) may spill the beans to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Plus, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will eavesdrop on a surprising argument. And Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will balk at Adam’s employment offer.

Y&R spoilers tease Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will find Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) outside. He’ll say he doesn’t think she killed Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), even though there’s plenty of proof to convict her. “How long before this destroys Kyle and Summer’s marriage?” he’ll ask. “And poor Jack, he is going to be crushed when you’re facing life in prison.” Then he’ll tell her he can give her a way out of it, set her up with a new ID, etc.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Daniel Sends Jack A Cryptic Message

When Jack arrives home, Diane will tell him Tucker made her an offer to help her go on the run. “To be honest, I’m angry at myself for wanting to run and even angrier for not wanting to do it,” she’ll tell her fiancé. “At this point, there is nothing I can do that’s not going to cause you more heartache.” However, Jack will promise her this is far from being over.

At Crimson Lights, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will walk in and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will hug her. Daniel will walk up and say he’d like to talk to his sister. He’ll ask her how she can keep lying to everyone. Summer will say she wishes she hadn’t told him. Then Chance will walk onto the patio and watch the siblings arguing.

After Summer leaves, Chance will approach and ask if he’s okay. And Daniel will ask Chance if Diane will be convicted. He’ll reply that he’s very confident there will be justice for his mother’s murder. Then Daniel will pull out his phone and send Jack a text. “Can we meet? There’s something you need to hear.”

Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be out for some fresh air at the park. She’ll get a call from Adam, telling her McCall is all his. He’ll also say his father gave him complete autonomy, including hiring staff. Sally will tell him she needs to talk to Chloe about it and will let him know. Nick will be standing over her shoulder, listening in. He’ll assume Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has offered her a contract. But she’ll tell him it wasn’t Jill.

However, she’ll say she’s got another offer, working at McCall, for Adam. “My offer to set you up was a resounding no, but you’re willing to go work with Adam at his company?” Nick will ask.  Then he’ll tell her if she accepts the job, it’ll be the biggest mistake of her life. “I didn’t ask for your opinion Nick, in fact, I asked you not to rush to judgement,” Sally will reply. She’ll also ask him not to insult her. “I’m not naïve to Adam’s motivations, please give me some credit.”

Y&R Scoop: Sally stands up to Nick

Sally will return to her suite and Chloe will arrive. But she’ll be none too happy to hear about the job offer. “How could you choose a business opportunity with Adam over Nick?” Chloe will ask. “It just doesn’t make sense.” However, Sally will say she needs to provide for her daughter.  “If you choose to accept this offer, you’ll be accepting it solo,” an angry Chloe will tell her.

Finally, back at Chancellor Park, Nick will confront his brother about offering Sally a job. “What is your problem Nicholas? Are you that insecure?” Adam will reply. “Is whatever you have with Sally that fragile?” Nick will tell him Sally doesn’t need his handout. But Adam will ask Nick what he’s offering her. He’ll say they’re not engaged and there’s no commitment – he likes her and that’s it. “Because I can say, with complete certainty, that I will always be there for Sally,” Adam will tell him. “I love her. Can you say the same?”
