The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, October 23 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will find a strange doodle in his father’s desk.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will confide in Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will ask Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to be patient. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get good and bad news from Nick.
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will ask Adam to join him at the GCAC bar. “Nate Hastings tells me that you’re doing a damn good job, it make me very proud to hear,” he’ll say. Then Victor will tell Adam he’s suspicious Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is conspiring with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to unseat him. Adam will say he thinks she wants her title back and that Nate would go along with anything she wants. “But why do you think they’re actively pursuing that?”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chloe Engages In More Adam Bashing
Victor will say he’s convinced they’re trying to prove he’s lost his marbles and he’ll add that Nick is considering coming back to Newman. So, Adam will ask Victor why he thinks that. “Victoria managed to convince Nicholas that their father is losing it.” And he’ll say he needs allies. “Will you be one of them?” Adam will say of course he will. “Whatever happens, I’m on your team, I’ve got your back.” Victor will say he knew he could count on him.
Then Victor will meet Nikki downstairs and will tell her he planted the idea in Adam’s head that Victoria is plotting against him. “He quickly pledged his allegiance to me. Too quickly but he was trying to be convincing.” Once again, Nikki will tell Victor she hates his plan. “I need to find out who is going to make the first move, Victoria or Adam,” he’ll reply. But Nikki will say Victoria would never do anything to betray him. Then she’ll text her daughter and ask her to come to the ranch.
Meanwhile, Nick will ask Sharon for her professional take about Victor. “I hate even saying this out loud but I think there’s something wrong with my dad.” She’ll ask what he’s noticed and he’ll tell her about Victor’s memory issues. But Sharon will say she’s not a specialist and it’s out of her league. However, she’ll volunteer to have a casual conversation with Victor without letting him know what’s going on.
Then Sharon will say she heard about him and Sally and he won’t want to talk about it. But Sharon will tell him if he still has unresolved issues, he needs to deal with them. Nick will say the unresolved issue is Adam. “She doesn’t want to admit it but it’s something that’s still clearly there,” Nick will say. “In the meantime, I gotta move on.” Sharon will ask if Nick’s still going to fund Sally’s business and he should probably let Sally know.
At Society, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will approach Sally and ask to join her. She’ll immediately say she hopes she’s not still thinking about Adam. “Please tell me you’ve talked to Nick and worked things out.” But Sally will say he’s been avoiding her and it doesn’t feel like a break, it feels like the end. “There’s no way forward for us.” She’ll say Nick thinks she has unresolved feelings for Adam.

“No. Sally, absolutely not,” Chloe will reply. As per usual, Chloe will bash Adam when Sally says she told him she can’t let him go. She’ll warn Sally that he’ll make her fall for him again and then break her heart. But when Nick calls her, asking to meet, Chloe will say it’s a good sign.
When Sally arrives at the GCAC, she’ll encounter Adam, who will say he can’t get what she said out of his head. She’ll see Nick arrive and Sally will tell Adam there’s no future for them. “Can you really stay in a relationship with him after what you admitted about me?” Adam will ask.
Sally will tell Adam they’re through and she’ll walk over to Nick and thank him for meeting her. “This is strictly a professional conversation about your business startup, nothing more,” Nick will say. She’ll assume he’s pulling out of her business but he’ll tell her he made a financial commitment and he’ll honor it. However, he’ll add that he has so much going on his life. “I can’t keep doing this with you.”
Finally, Adam will walk into Victor’s office and pour himself a drink. He’ll sit at the CEO desk and start looking through it. Adam will find a strange doodle of a serpent, with his, Victoria’s and Nick’s names intertwined. “What the hell is going on with you dad?” he’ll say to his father’ portrait.
