The General Hospital (GH) scoop hints someone is out to put an end to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But who?
During the past few months, Sonny has been shot at several times, including at the Metro Court pool, where Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was unlucky enough to be the unintended victim. Plus, he and Ava Jerome (Maura West) had to take cover when a gunman recently tried to kill him in Puerto Rico.
Sonny now believes that someone inside his organization could be responsible. So, when Brick (Stephen A. Smith) brings him evidence that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) may be working to take him down, he’ll accuse Dex of betrayal. And he could be right. Dex betrayed him in the past, with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

But what if Brick is responsible? By focusing the blame on Dex, he’s taking suspicion off himself. After all, he and Dex both know how to get around Sonny’s security. However, Brick has never betrayed Sonny, so it would seem out of character.
Another compelling suspect is none other than Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). As viewers know, Burton will be returning to GH in early March, after a two year absence.
During the cave in, Jason could have sustained a head injury, which may have scrambled his memories. Plus, Jason also knows the inner workings of Sonny’s mob just as well as Brick and Dex do.

Other potential, but less likely, suspects include Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). He hates the mobster and is tracking him everywhere he goes. And Jagger Cates (Adam J. Harrington), who has just recently come back on the scene with a score to settle against Sonny.
