Daytime Emmys Nominees: Courtney Hope - Nancy Lee Grahn - Bryton James

General Hospital (GH) leads the pack, as the 48th Annual Daytime Emmys announced its first-wave 2021 list of nominees this afternoon.

The ABC daytime drama nabbed a grand total of 17 nominees. The other three soaps didn’t even come close however, nabbing the exact same amount of nominees for all three combined. The Daytime Emmys nominees are listed below.

Daytime Emmys Nominations – Many Fans Sounded Off About Their Favorites

Fans were quick to sound off on the nominees. Many are sure Y&R’s Marla Adams is a hands down winner in the Supporting Actress Category. But some were also puzzled by B&B’s Darin Brooks Supporting Actor nomination. “Wyatt? Really? He hasn’t even done anything?!” one fan ranted. “How the hell did Thomas not get nominated! Matthew Atkinson stole the show! He’s been awesome!”

Another fan gave all five of the Supporting Actors kudos. “Literally love every single man on this list. 5 way tie? lol.” This year’s ceremony will take place on June 25, 2021. It will be virtual, much like the ceremony in 2020 and broadcast live on CBS, starting at 8 p.m.
