The Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) scoop for the week of October 5 hints Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will put the pressure on Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).
Also coming up this week, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will meet a potential new beau and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will demand answers from Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Plus, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will fire Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).
In the DOOL weekly promo, Claire will bump into Charlie (Mike C. Manning) at Horton Town Square. She’ll also spill a smoothie all over him. He’ll be surprised but will also grin and will ask her out. Will she say yes?

Over with Tripp, who will arrive at Nicole Walker’s (Arienne Zucker) door. He’ll ask Allie why she would accuse him of rape. He’ll try to explain that when he saw how drunk she was, all he did was take her home. Wouldn’t a simple paternity test solve this whole dilemma?

Then Kayla Brady (Judi Evans) will upset Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) when she wonders aloud if Tripp might be guilty. But Steve knows his son and will refuse to believe it.
Meanwhile, Victor will be angry when Phillip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) tells him Xander had him arrested. And things will go downhill fast for Xander when Victor fires him and bans him from Titan.
Days Of Our Lives Scoop – Will Eli Grant Trick Kristen DiMera Into Confessing?
Finally, Melinda will tell Eli what she needs to put the final nail in Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) coffin is a taped confession. And viewers know he’s going to do anything the DA tells him, since she knows Lani Price (Sal Stowers) helped her friend escape police custody.
Eli will be talking to Kristen in her room at the Salem Inn and he’ll end up blurting out: “I don’t give a damn how you feel.” Will Eli manage to finagle a confession out of Kristen?
