Also coming up on Friday, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will confide in her new friend Gwen (Emily O’Brien). Plus, an inebriated Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is tempted to reveal his feelings to Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans).
Steve had to bite his tongue when Kayla and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) told him they were engaged. She showed him the ring and viewers knew he tried his best to hold in his emotions. Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) glanced over at him, half expecting Steve to explode. But he kept it together and congratulated the happy couple.

Over with Claire, the firebug will discuss her plans for when she gets out of Bayview with her new friend Gwen. Claire says she’s been rehabilitated, but is she really? Is the real reason she wants out to exact some sort of revenge on Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), whose wedding to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is coming up soon?

Finally, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) admitted to Ben that the people who are after him are part of an organized crime syndicate. And now they’ve got Gabi. “She’s been kidnapped,” Jake will tell Ciara and Ben, as he shows them a photo of her tied up and gagged on his phone. “Gabi’s as good as dead.”
