The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, October 14 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will revel in Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) misery.
Also coming up, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will make a power play. Plus, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) plans to stop Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) from destroying Abbott-Chancellor. And Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have an awkward encounter with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will tell Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that Victor fired her. Nate will say he’s obviously gotten his hatchet out, because he’s also playing Lily. Audra will say it’s hard to accept losing Glissade to Victor and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). “Losing Glissade, yes that has to hurt, but you will come back from that,” Nate will say. “Because that’s what you do.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sally And Billy Listen To A Story About Buttons
At the park, Sally and Billy will run into each other. Then Adam and Chelsea will come along and say they were at a therapy session with their son. They’ll talk about how he got into a tizzy over buttons on his shirt. And yes, it’ll be as boring and mundane a conversation as you can imagine. Billy and Sally will stare at them uncomfortably, as Adam and Chelsea drone on about buttons.
“When is that going to get easier?” Billy will ask Sally after they leave. “Apparently not today,” she’ll reply. Billy will say maybe they’re just meant to be together. “When I see Adam and Chelsea I see something that’s unbreakable,” Sally will reply. “So for me, there’s no going back.”
At the GCAC, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will tell Victor she needs to admit something and he’s not going to like it. So, she’ll say Lily came to see her. “And I told her the truth.” But Victor won’t be surprised. Nikki will say she hopes Lily can get past her anger. “I know what Lily’s going to do,” Victor will reply. “Let me just say it’ll be the beginning of the end of Billy Abbott.”
As for Lily, she’ll meet up with Devon Winters (Bryton James) and she’ll tell him she spoke with Nikki, who admitted everything. “Right now I feel like I wanna rip someone’s head off,” Lily will tell him. She’ll add at least Billy had the decency to fire her. Unlike Victor, who manipulated her.
However, Devon will say it’s not okay and it’s something Victor will have to answer for. Then he’ll tell her she should come back to Winters. But Lily’s not just going to walk away, she’s going to fight. Devon will warn she doesn’t want to get in the middle of a war between Victor and Billy.
So, Lily will put in a call to Jill, who will ask what Billy’s done now. And Lily will tell her he’s about to destroy Abbott-Chancellor. “Billy fired me,” she’ll say. Jill will admit she knew. She’d spoken with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). But she thought Billy would come to his senses and ask her back.

“I love Chancellor and I’m very afraid of the moves Billy is making,” Lily will say. Then she’ll tell Jill he hired Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus, Victor’s coming after Chancellor and Billy doesn’t even seem to care.
Jill will say she can’t believe she’s coddled Billy to the point where he’s about to cost her her company. “My son is clearly out of control,” she’ll add. “And I’m the only one who can put him in his place.”
Meanwhile, Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will try their best to do damage control at Jabot. But, as usual, they’ll end up arguing about Kyle. Eventually, Diane will storm off. Then she’ll make a call, asking Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to meet. And she’ll tell him Kyle stole a Jabot product for Glissade.
Diane will add she thinks Jack is beginning to regret marrying her. She’ll head to the ladies room and Victor will approach Michael. Diane will be annoyed when she returns and sees Victor standing there. “This whole story of you coming back from the dead to resurrect your love for your family,” he’ll say. “It’s all bull. You came back for money and power didn’t you?” But she’ll say Jack loves her and so does Kyle.
Finally, Victor will tell Diane her facade is coming to an end. “It’s going to be the end of your marriage and you will lose everything.” After Diane leaves, Victor will tell Michael the Abbotts are going to be humiliated. “So my plan is working out.” But is Victor right? Is Diane about to lose everything?
