Young And The Restless Scoop October 4: Sharon’s Condolences Don’t Go Over Well – Chance Tells Daniel Heather Didn’t Drown

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, October 4 reveals Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) expressions of sympathy will go over like a lead balloon.

Also coming up, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will share some alarming news with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will catch up. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will tell Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) she’s deluding herself.

Y&R spoilers tease Billy will see Chelsea at the coffee shop. They’ll have a tedious, uncomfortable chat, until Adam shows up. “What’s this all about?” he’ll ask. Billy will say their conversation is none of his business. So Adam will get angry “What are you going to do about it, hit me again?” Billy will ask.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Won’t Forget What Sharon Has Done

After Billy leaves, Chelsea will ask if Adam’s trying to ruin things for her. “Please tell me you’re not hoping he’s going to forgive you and take you back,” he’ll reply. Chelsea will tell him he should put his energy into getting Sally back. But Adam will l say it’s not going to happen. “Sally knows how I feel about you.”

At the park, Sharon will ask Daniel and Lucy if they have any idea how Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death could have happened. “I understand Heather was found in the river.” Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will wonder why Sharon’s asking all these questions. “Because you’re making it sound like it wasn’t an accident.”

So, Lucy will beg Sharon that if she knows anything, to please tell them. She’ll run off and Daniel will ask Sharon if she’s insane. “Seriously what is wrong with you?” he’ll add. “I don’t care what you have to say right now! Just think for a minute and let us grieve in peace!”

At the GCAC, Chance and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will giggle over a drink. Then Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will walk in and tell them Heather’s dead. “This is heartbreaking,” Summer will say. Chance will walk away to make a phone call. When he returns, Summer will leave to see Daniel and Chance will tell Phyllis things will get a lot more painful for Daniel, because they’re doing an autopsy on Heather.

After Chance leaves, Sharon will approach Phyllis and express her condolences about Heather. But Phyllis won’t be having it. “I will never, ever forget what you did to my family,” she’ll tell Sharon. “If it’s the last thing I do, I will make sure that everyone in town never forgets what you did.”

Meanwhile, Billy will head to Society and run into Sally at the bar. He’ll tell her he just saw Chelsea and could feel himself getting weaker. So, it was probably good that Adam walked in when he did. Sally will say some kind words to Billy and he’ll ask if she wants to come to his launch party. “I would be delighted,” she’ll reply.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Summer Is There For Her Brother

Then Phyllis will show up and Sally will leave. “I just wanted to tell you something, I’m going through something personally that may affect my job in the next couple of days,” she’ll tell Billy. “Heather died, Lucy is so torn up, Daniel’s devastated.” Phyllis will start weeping and ask if she could lean on Billy as a friend.

Speaking of Daniel, he’ll return home and get a call from Chance, saying he has information and wants to see him. Then Summer will show up, and Daniel will tell her about identifying Heather’s body. “Daniel, I’m here for you, whatever you need,” Summer will say.

Chance will arrive and tell Daniel Heather’s autopsy is complete. He’ll say his buddy saw the preliminary report and gave him permission to deliver the news. “Everything they thought they knew about how Heather died, it’s wrong.”

The former cop will say Heather was in the water for hours but didn’t drown. She died from blunt force trauma to the back of the head before she hit the water. Chance will leave and Summer will suggest he keep it from Lucy until he gets more details. Daniel will tell Summer that when he and Heather got back together, he told her he’d never lose her again. “Now, I’m not going to be able to keep that promise.”

Back at Crimson Lights, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will tell Sharon her conversation with Daniel and Lucy didn’t go too well. “You need to be more careful, you’re starting to lose public sentiment.” He’ll remind her that Daniel still hasn’t paid. “Sharon, come on, you know what you need to do. It’s time to make the next move.”

Finally, Sharon will go outside to her vehicle and open the trunk. She’ll pick up the bloody towel she used to clean up Heather’s blood. “Atta girl,” Cameron will tell her. “It’s finally time to make Daniel pay for the life he took.”
