The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, September 13 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will share a smooch.
Also coming up, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) wants payback on Kyle. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will needle Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will make a pitch to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will ask Billy why he didn’t get an invite to the Abbott Chancellor launch party. Then again, he assumes Billy’s latest venture will fail. Billy will tell him he’s not going to get under his skin. And he’s going to prove him wrong. “Enjoy your damn french fries, okay,” Victor will say as he walks away. “Don’t choke on them.”
Phyllis will spot them and approach Billy. She’ll ask why he was going toe to toe with Victor. “These rumors about some shake up, are they true?” she’ll ask. “Is it true you got rid of Chance and Lily?” Billy will say it is. So, Phyllis will say it’d be amazing if the perfect person just fell in his lap.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Diane Admits She Made Stupid Mistakes
“I’m amused I’m in the middle of a job interview for a position I never advertised,” he’ll reply. But Phyllis will say he needs someone like her. He has huge holes in his c-suite and it doesn’t look good. So, Billy will ask her to pitch him.
She’ll say she turned the Grand Phoenix into a world-class hotel. Not to mention she was CEO of Jabot. And she’s a self-made prodigy in the tech world. “Most importantly we know each other and we work well together.” She’ll get up to leave but Billy will tell her not to go. “Maybe bringing you on board isn’t such a bad idea.”
However, he’ll say she might change her mind when he tells her what’s going on at Abbott-Chancellor. “We may be under attack, from Victor.” So, he’ll ask if he’s scared her off. “No, on the contrary, I love a challenge,” she’ll reply. “And you know I have no problem fighting dirty for something I care about.”
Phyllis will tell Billy whether he hires her or not, he should do one thing – hire her son back. And Billy will say he can see the potential there. But he has to think about everything. After Billy leaves, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) who was watching their conversation, will have a warning for Phyllis. “I think Billy’s days there are numbered.”
At Society, Claire and Kyle will sit with Diane and Jack Abbott (Michael Mealor). Then Kyle will get a text from Audra, who’s standing in the foyer. They’ll walk outside together. “I just came from Victor’s office and I cannot believe you would stoop so low,” she’ll tell him. “You are blatantly trying to freeze me out!”
Kyle will say he’s sorry she got fired. But Audra will tell him she’s not fired. “Not this time,” Kyle will reply. Then he’ll walk back to his parent’s table and say he has to leave. But Diane will balk and ask to talk to Kyle alone. They’ll head to the park and Diane will say she made stupid horrible mistakes in the past.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nate Cautions Audra About Victor
She’ll ask her son if he resents her and that’s why he’s moving out. “I wanna move out so I can finally breathe, without everything being about you,” he’ll reply. Diane will say obviously her mere presence offends him and will wonder if there’s something older and deeper going on. She’ll suggest family therapy and Kyle will lose it. All the while, Victor will eavesdrop and walk over.
“I think Kyle is right, you managed to get your hands on your husband and your job title.” Victor will say. And he’ll add Kyle is a bright young man and she shouldn’t use him. An angry Diane will storm off. Victor will advise Kyle he should live his life as he sees fit.
As for Audra, she’ll run into Nate and tell him her position is in jeopardy because Kyle ratted her out. “I just hate that Kyle has the upper hand now,” she’ll say. Normally, she can spot an adversary from a mile away but not this one.
Nate will say he’s known Victor for a long time and knows how his Machiavellian mind works. “He lives in a morally ambiguous world with rules of his own,” Nate will add. “If you ever cross him, he won’t hesitate to throw you under the bus.”
Finally, Claire will approach Kyle at the park and say she was looking for him. She’ll sit down beside him, take his hand, and ask if he’s okay. “Just the site of you makes me breathe a little easier,” Kyle will tell her. Then he’ll smile, move in closer, and kiss her.
