The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, August 19 reveals Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will make a surprising admission to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will have an actual civilized conversation with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Plus, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will have information for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). And Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will continue to lie.
Y&R spoilers tease Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will beg Adam to be honest. “Why do you keep pushing this?” he’ll reply. But Sally will tell him to stop gaslighting her. “Adam, what is it that happened that made Chelsea feel so guilty about that one night?”
Once again, he’ll lie and say he was really awful to Chelsea. “This whole Connor thing has us both on edge.” Adam will say he’s sorry. “Please believe me.” But Sally will say she can’t shake the feeling he’s lying to her.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Adam Tells Sally That Things Will Get Better
Adam will tell her he wishes Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) would keep his insecurities to himself. “Please promise me you won’t let Billy’s paranoia get to you.” He’ll ask if she trusts him. “I thought I did,” she’ll reply. Adam will tell her things will get better, but she’ll say she can’t just sit around and wait for that. Then she’ll walk out.
As for Chelsea, she’ll tell Billy she’s just worried about her son. “Whatever this secret is, it’s eating you up inside,” he’ll reply. “Please just tell me, I need to know.” But Chelsea will say she loves him and with everything going on she can’t deal with this. Billy will say it’s important they talk. However, she’ll use Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as an excuse not to.
“What I’m hearing you say is you don’t have any time for me,” Billy will reply. So, Chelsea will say maybe she does need a bit of a break, so she can focus on Connor. Billy will tell her she won’t be able to avoid this forever. “I’m so sorry Billy, I just can’t do this right now,” Chelsea will reply.
Of course, Sally and Billy will both end up at the park and they’ll have the same conversation they’ve had a thousand times over. “I’m sick of trying to figure out what they meant by that one night,” Sally will say to Billy. Really Sally, what do you think it means?
Chelsea will rush over to Adam’s place and tell him she can’t keep putting Billy off. “It’s taking too much of my attention away from Connor. I can’t do it anymore.” Adam will say he feels the same way about Sally and he wishes Billy would back off.
Adam will say tell her they need to put it behind them, once and for all. “There’s really only one way out for us now,” Chelsea will tell him. They only have one option, they have to tell the truth. But Adam will say it would ruin everything.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Summer Greets Audra With An Attitude
At Newman Enterprises, Michael will tell Victor he found nothing on Billy. However, he did learn Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is in London, undergoing treatment for cardiac issues. So, Victor will tell him to find out the severity of Jill’s health problems and he’ll ask him to find out more from his wife. And Michael will say he’ll see what he can do.
Meanwhile, Audra will pull Kyle aside and ask what he talked about with Victor. He’ll say it was about the custody battle. Then Summer will show up and ask to speak with Kyle privately. But Audra will say she wants to clarify a few things first.
She’ll ask Summer why she’s involved her in a custody battle over some boy she’s had zero contact with. “Stop dragging me into it, I am not your problem.” But Summer won’t respond and she’ll drag Kyle to the Jazz Club. She’ll tell him she feels bad about how their last conversation went off the rails.
But Kyle will ask why she vehemently distrusts Audra. Summer will say she thought Kyle had learned his lesson about Audra. “Someone that untrustworthy does not need to be around Harrison,” she’ll add. “What bothers me the most is you don’t see it.”
Finally, Audra will join Nate at their table and he’ll say he knows who her secret investor is. “It’s Victor Newman.” But Audra will deny it. Nate will say he’s known Victor for a long time, and he’s sure he’s hired Kyle as payback for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). So, Audra will confide in Nate that he’s right.
“I thought I could manage the situation,” Audra will add. “I saw it as a perfect opportunity to work with Victor. Except now I realize the only reason he invested was to use it as a tool to hurt Jack and Jabot.” But is Audra making a mistake, confiding in Nate?
