The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, July 31 reveals Devon Winters (Bryton James) will reel after an alarming conversation with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Also coming up, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will speak with an imaginary Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Plus, the real Nick will get a concerning call from Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). And Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will open up to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Y&R spoilers tease Sharon will sit on a bench at Chancellor Park. She’ll think she hears Cassie calling her. She’ll also imagine Nick walking up to her. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” she’ll tell him. Although she’ll say she’s not crazy, she knows he’s not really there.
“You and me, we’re not together, we can never get back what we had,” she’ll say. But imaginary Nick will implore her not to give up. She’ll tell him she’s tried to move on from what happened to Cassie. “Even when we’re apart, we’ll always be connected, because of her.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Imagines Kissing Nick Yet Again
Sharon will say she wants to heal but Nick will tell her it won’t happen alone. “You need to fall in love again.” But Sharon will say it doesn’t fix anything. There’s never been anyone for her but him. Nick will say nothing is right when they’re not together. “The love is still there, what if the only way for us to heal is if we’re together?” Then she’ll imagine Nick kissing her.
At Abbott Chancellor, Billy will arrive with a new logo mockup for Lily. She’ll like it, but she’ll ask if he’s okay. And Billy will say Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is struggling with her son’s issues, although he’s coming home. “So, why do you seem down?” Lily will ask. He’ll admit he’s worried and his mind is a little twisted about it.
Meanwhile, Mariah will arrive at Sharon’s cottage and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will say their mom left before she got up. They’ll talk about how messy the house is and Mariah will say something’s wrong. “I know, I don’t know how we fix it,” Faith will reply.
So, Mariah will call Nick. She’ll say she and Faith have been calling and texting Sharon, with no response. “Nick, the house is a mess and I’m trying not to scare Faith, but I have a bad feeling.” He’ll tell Mariah to keep him posted.
Faith will walk back into the room and tell Mariah she doesn’t know if Sharon’s been taking her medication. She’ll admit she’s even put off her trip to Europe. Mariah will say Sharon seems to be avoiding her and Faith will tell her she thinks she knows why. She’s heard her whispering Cassie’s name a lot lately.
“I’m the living, breathing reminder of everything Sharon has lost,” Mariah will reply. But Faith will say it’s not about her. Sharon will walk inside and Faith will ask if she’s okay. “I don’t think so,” Sharon will reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Mariah Raises The Alarm To Nick
At Newman Enterprises, Victor will tell Nick he’s formulating his plan to takeover Chancellor. But he wonders what Lily will do. Nick will say he hopes Victor does right by Lily but he’ll also point out Billy’s not just going to hand the company over. “You’re going to need something more.”
Then Devon will walk in. Victor will ask Devon if the Chancellor-Winters split was “Billy’s brainchild.” Devon will say of course it was. “It makes me sad to know that Lily is leaving her family’s business,” Victor will say. And he’ll ask Devon if he’d like to take Billy down. Devon will admit he and Billy have never seen eye to eye but he doesn’t want to go after him. So, Victor will say he should rethink his position.
“If you want to protect Lily, you convince her to join you at Winters,” Victor will tell him. Devon will ask what’s making him say that. But Victor will say Billy’s going to run the company into the ground. “He has reduced your grandmother’s name to second billing in her own company,” he’ll add. “You convince your sister to get out of Chancellor before it’s too late.”
After Devon leaves, Nick will tell Victor that Devon will go to Lily and tell her they’re going after Chancellor, and she might tell Billy. “What if that is exactly what I want?” Victor will reply. “My son, the game is on, let the excitement begin.” Then Nick will get a call from Mariah. “Sharon’s home but she doesn’t look good, can you come?” she’ll ask. And Nick will say he’s on his way.
Finally, Devon will arrive at Chancellor and ask if Lily can come have coffee with him. They’ll arrive at Crimson Lights and he’ll tell his confused sister she needs to come work with him. “Something has changed and you need to get out before all hell breaks loose.” But will Lily take Devon’s advice?
