The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, July 15 reveals Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be haunted by her late daughter Cassie.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will warn Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Plus, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will worry about Sharon. And Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) will ask Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) if she wants him to choose.
Y&R spoilers tease Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) ask Victor why he warned Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to be careful around him. Victor will remind Kyle his granddaughter has no outside world experience. But Kyle will say their friendship is not that serious.
“Then why are you telling her all about your personal experiences?” Victor will ask. “All I’m saying is do not take advantage of her naivete.” So, Kyle will say he would never do anything to take advantage of Claire.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Summer Stunned By Harrison’s Question
Victor will head to the GCAC and invite Billy to have a drink. He’ll ask why he pushed Chancellor-Winters apart. But Billy will ask why it matters to him and he’ll say he’s friends with both Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Devon Winters (Bryton James). “I don’t want any harm to come to either of them, because of your arrogance.”
Meanwhile, Claire will walk into the Abbott estate with Harrison. Summer will ask him how day camp was. Harrison will say he can’t remember, but he had a great time hanging out with Claire afterwards. Summer will watch, with a jealous look on her face, as they sing and play patty cake.
Claire will leave and Summer will ask Harrison how he feels about moving to a new house. He’ll say he sees it as an adventure. So, Summer will ask if he’d like to go on an adventure with her too and say she’s also looking for a new place. “Are you asking me to choose between living at your new house and daddy’s?” Harrison will ask, just as Kyle walks in.
Harrison will say hi to his dad and go upstairs to wash up for dinner. “What the hell, Summer?” Kyle will ask. “Are you actually asking Harrison which one of us he wants to live with permanently?” But Summer won’t want to discuss it, with Harrison right upstairs.
At the coffee shop, Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercury) will moan about Claire. “What happened, I thought you were starting to warm up to her at the park?” Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will ask. Then Katie will spot Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) walk in and she’ll make a face. She’ll ask Victoria why he’s always around.
A few moments later, Claire will show up and ask to speak with Katie in private. She’ll say she needs advice, about Victoria. “I’ve never really had a mom before. I just wanna be sure I’m not taking advantage of her generosity.” She’ll say she feels like Victoria may be neglecting her other obligations.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Katie And Claire Start Getting Along
Katie will advise her on their mom and then ask what it was really like living with her aunt. “She sounds so scary.” Claire will say she was terrifying and controlled her every move. They’ll head back out and sit with their family. Cole will ask if they’d like to go to dinner and they’ll head to Society and have a friendly family meal.
At Society, Mariah will tell Nick that Sharon didn’t come into work that day. “I’m probably overreacting.” And Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will say Mariah’s worried. “The last few times I was around her, she did seem a little off,” Nick will admit. He’ll say Sharon’s doctor changed her meds and finding the right balance is an art. But Mariah thinks it’s more than that, she’s working too hard and she thinks Sharon is lonely.
Finally, Sharon will dream about Cassie getting into the fatal accident and weeping over her coffin after she died. She’ll also see a vision of Cassie and reach out to touch her. Then she’ll wake up and wonder what’s happening to her.
There’ll be a knock on her door. It’s Mariah, Tessa and Nick, with dinner. She’ll invite them in and make up an excuse about missing work. They’ll ask about her medication and she’ll say the doctor adjusted the dose and she’s fine. But they will all look at each other warily after she leaves the room.
When Sharon sees the meals in the Society bag, she’ll realize it’s Mariah and Tessa’s favorite dishes. “You came here on a whim because you were worried about me,” Sharon will say. “Yes Sharon, we wanted to come over and check on you,” Nick will admit. “We want to make sure you’re not running yourself into the ground.”
Sharon will assure him she’s not. They’ll sit around chatting and then Sharon will pick up a water pitcher and head to the kitchen. But she’ll be on edge when she puts the pitcher in the sink. And she’ll turn around when she hears Cassie saying “mom.”
