The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, July 9 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will lie to their partners.
Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will face off. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will ask Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) if she’d like to change her last name. And Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will gloat to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Y&R spoilers tease Adam will flash back to having sex with Chelsea. He’ll walk in his front door and Sally will greet him with a hug. “It would have been all around better if I had just stayed home,” Adam will say. Sally will ask how things were between he and Chelsea.
“I hope you guys were able to find some comfort in each other through all this,” she’ll add, and Adam will make a face. So, Sally will ask why he got quiet when she brought up Chelsea’s name and she’ll ask if something happened. But Adam will lie and say he’s just distracted and worried about his son.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victoria Asks Claire About A Name Change
At the same time, Chelsea will look at Billy guiltily as she approaches him. He’ll embrace her and she’ll think about her tryst with Adam. “How’s Adam handling this?” Billy will ask her. “I hope he’s not taking everything out on you.” Then he’ll suggest they go out for breakfast. But when they arrive at the GCAC, Chelsea will say she’s not hungry. So, Billy will offer to take her grocery shopping and then home to rest. “I don’t deserve you,” Chelsea will say.
Meanwhile, Victor will meet up with Kyle and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at Chancellor Park. Kyle will say he filled his father in on working for Glissade. Audra will tell Victor they want to move the company to Genoa City. She’ll handle the Paris investors, while Kyle deals with things in town.
Victor will ask Kyle to leave and he’ll tell Audra Kyle asked him why they needed her. “I told you about him so you can watch your back.” So, Audra will ask Victor is he trusts Kyle. And he’ll say the fact that he wants to prove something to his father could be a weakness.
At Society, Claire will tell Victoria and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that Victor told her not to pursue a friendship with Kyle. Nikki will say there are few people on earth that Victor despises more than Jack. And she’ll tell Claire to take his warnings with a grain of salt. They’ll read the Glissade press release and Kyle will walk in and ask to speak with Claire alone.
“Is there something going on between you and my grandpa?” Claire will ask him. “He warned me to be careful around you.” A confused Kyle will wonder why he’d do that. Audra will show up and say they should go check out their new offices.
“Actually, there’s something I need to take care of first,” Kyle will say. “I’ll meet you there.” Claire will return to the table, where Nikki and Victoria will be discussing the fact that Claire is a Newman. And she’ll be thrilled when Victoria asks her if she’d like to change her last name.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jack Can’t Believe What Victor Said
At the Abbott estate, Jack will tell Diane their son’s revolt against the family is even worse than they thought. Jack will remind her of when Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) accused him of being a secret Glissade investor, because Audra was championing a takeover bid. “Kyle and Audra Charles are the co-CEO’s of Glissade.”
Diane will say she can’t believe their son would do something like this. “What is this, payback?” she’ll ask. “Does our son really hate us this much?” They’ll continue their conversation at Jabot and Jack will wonder why Kyle would want to team up with Audra. “Maybe she’s not the one calling the shots.”
He’ll ask Diane who would have the motive to create this kind of a nightmare and then answer his own question. “Victor Newman.” Jack will add it’s classic Victor. “Taking care of both of his enemies with one grand gesture.” So, he’ll tell his wife he’s heading to Newman to confront Victor.
Shortly after, Kyle will arrive at Jabot to taunt his mother. “I love you more than anything in this world but right now I am really angry with you,” Diane will say. “This is breaking your father’s heart and mine. Do you really not care about that at all?” Diane will tell Kyle he’s better than this. “I will prove to you my worth the only way either of you understand,” he’ll reply. “I will beat you at your own game.”
Finally, Jack will shout at Victor about using his family. “Are you ready to throw another chair through the window?” Victor will ask. But Jack will say he knows Victor’s the mystery investor. “This is a promise, you will pay for this!” However, Victor will tell him he’s a lousy father to Kyle and now he’s dealing with the consequences. “Live with them!”

If Jack would have made Kyle the head CEO in the first place then none of this would’ve never happened!! Also Diane was too Bitchy to her own son! She didn’t even act like she was his mother!!
