The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, May 29 reveals Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will be upset with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) alive. Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will learn Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has a serious health condition. And Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) going to move in with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will walk into Crimson Lights and surprise Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). He’ll say he cut his trip short to see her before she left for Maryland. Chelsea will update him on what’s going on and say she’s grateful for his support. Then he’ll get a message from Jill and head to the office.
When he calls his mom, Jill will ask if his coworkers are around and Billy will say they’re both in a meeting. She’ll say she’s had issues with her health and there are complications. Jill will add she’s with her brother Snapper in London and needs to avoid stress. “I am confident that I can take this on.” But she wants Billy to keep it to himself and continue to protect the company.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chloe Learns Sally’s Moving In With Adam
In Adam’s apartment, Sally will say they should talk about his offer. “If it’s too much pressure, I understand,” he’ll reply. “So, if this is not what you want, say it.” But Sally will put him out of his misery. “My answer is yes, I will move in with you.” So, Adam will give her his keys.
Sally will return to her suite and meet with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). “I hate to say this, but I think we’ve reached the end of the line,” Sally will tell her. She’ll add that Chelsea’s taking a leave of absence and putting in a word for her with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) at Marchetti.
Then Chloe will see she’s packing her suitcases and Sally will say she’s moving in with Adam. “This day just keeps getting better and better,” an annoyed Chloe will reply. She’ll tell Sally she wishes her the best with Adam. “I sincerely hope he doesn’t break your heart.”
At the tack house, Claire will tell Victoria that Summer changed her mind and she’s going to be Harrison Locke’s (Redding Munsell) nanny. Then Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and Victor will show up. “Has something happened?” Victoria will ask. And Victor will say there’s news regarding Jordan.
Meanwhile, Nikki will show up at the Abbott estate. Jack will tell her she looks wonderful. She’ll tell him she’s out of rehab. “It wasn’t easy to go away but it was necessary.” She’ll admit she didn’t get there on her own. “You are the reason I am back on the right path.”
Then she’ll ask him if he’s all right and he’ll say he has no urge to take pills. “When you passed out it was like my whole world stopped,” she’ll admit. But although what he did was stupid, it was the bravest thing anyone’s ever done for her.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nikki Finds Out Jordan Isn’t Dead
“I still need a sponsor, I hope it’s not too much to ask if that could still be you,” Nikki will say. And Jack will tell her he’s there for whatever she needs, just as Diane walks in. Nikki will get a call from Victor and Diane will say hello before Nikki heads out.
Nikki will arrive at the tack house and Victor will say his security team found Jordan on the riverbank. “Apparently she was barely breathing,” he’ll add. “In other words, she was alive.” “What?!” Nikki will reply. But Victor will say she’s in maximum security and will cause no further damage to their family. Later, Victor and Cole will head down to the dungeon and start piling concrete bricks in front of the cell.
Finally, back at the Abbott estate, Jack will tell Diane Nikki’s in outpatient treatment and he’s going to remain her sponsor. And Diane will be incredulous. A clueless Jack will be surprised, he didn’t think she would have a problem with it.
“No, no, the facts haven’t changed, you risked your sobriety for Nikki’s,” she’ll say. “You gambled with your addiction and you could have died, why would you take that chance again?” Then she’ll tell him he shouldn’t be Nikki’s sponsor.
“Do you think I’m choosing Nikki over you, that’s not what this is,” he’ll say. And he’ll accuse her of asking him to abandon a lifelong friend. “This is about trust, this is about our marriage,” she’ll tell him. “I don’t know how we’re going to survive this.”
