The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, May 17 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make an offer to Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell).
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will learn that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) hates a particular vegetable. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will catch up with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). And Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will remain suspicious.
Y&R spoilers tease Summer will tell Phyllis she was great in the park, showing Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) there are boundaries. “I just hope that Claire has finally gotten the hint and will actually keep her distance,” she’ll add. Phyllis will say she doesn’t think Summer is overreacting.

Then she’ll tell Summer she’s worried about Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and she’ll admit she quit her job. She’ll complain that Chancellor-Winters treated Daniel like trash and someone needs to make them pay. “Mom, please do not burn Chancellor-Winters to the ground,” Summer will tell her, just before she leaves.
Meanwhile, Kyle will run into Claire and say he wishes Summer would let up because he thinks she would be great with Harrison. But Claire will tell him to go easy on Summer. “I can’t imagine what Summer went through,” she’ll say, adding she’s a reminder of that. “If Summer doesn’t want me around, I can understand that and I hope you can too.” Then he’ll get a text from Summer, saying Harrison had another nightmare, and asking him to come home.
In his dungeon, Victor will pay his captive a visit. “You said you had a plan, I’ll do whatever you want,” Jordan will tell him. “Do you want mayhem, chaos, blood? I’m your woman.” Victor will taunt her, saying the weather is beautiful outside and he loves to breathe in the fresh air.
Jordan will get on her knees and plead with Victor. “I’m ready to do whatever you want,” she’ll say. “I’m the bullet in your chamber, pull the trigger.” But Victor will tell her she’s pathetic. Jordan will say Nikki would have let her out, she saved her life. “Nikki is weak, she couldn’t finish the job.”
She’ll say people must be wondering where she is. But Victor will describe what he said happened to her, so they all think she’s dead. “You bastard,” Jordan will reply. He’ll leave another bottle of vodka and Jordan will complain it’s not the good stuff. “Did Nikki drink it all?” she’ll ask. Then Victor will reach between the bars and grab her by the collar.
Upstairs, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will come in and tell Cole he was hoping to see Victor. “No one is exactly sure where he is,” he’ll reply. So, Nick will look everywhere but won’t be able to find him. “Do you think it’s possible that Victor’s keeping a secret?” Cole will ask Nick. “Absolutely,” Nick will reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Cole Thinks That Something’s Off
Cole will say he gets a feeling from Victor on a couple of fronts. Victor said he wants all the Newmans to stay away from the Abbotts and the other thing is Jordan. But Nick will say she’s dead. “I think there’s something off with Victor’s claim that she died in that chase,” Cole will reply. “Until her body is found I feel like I have to protect Victoria and Claire.”
Victor will return upstairs to sign something for his son. Nick will leave and Claire will show up. Victor will invite Cole and Claire to have dinner, the cook is making a prime rib roast and brussels sprouts. Claire will say she’s never had them before, the smell of them made Jordan retch.
“That’s interesting,” Victor will say with a smile. So naturally, he’ll head down to the dungeon. He’ll tell Jordan he brought her something to eat. But when he lifts the lid and she sees brussels sprouts, she’ll gag. “Bon Appetit,” Victor will say.
Finally, Kyle will arrive at the Abbott estate and Harrison will tell him he dreamt the witch wanted to take him away. “You’re safe here,” Kyle will say. “What about Claire?” he’ll ask. “Can she come over?” But Summer won’t answer and Harrison will head to the kitchen.
Once he and Summer are alone, Kyle will say he thinks they should bring in Claire as Harrison’s nanny. “The trauma they went through has bonded them.” He’ll ask if it’s a good idea to introduce him to a stranger. “Claire isn’t a threat she’s a solution.”
“If you wanna help Claire, you go and do that,” Summer will tell Kyle. “Just leave our son out of it.” Then Harrison will return to the room and ask if they can call Claire. “We can do better than that,” Kyle will tell his son. “How would you like Claire to be your new nanny?”
