The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, April 1 reveals Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will tell Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) exactly what she thinks of her.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will learn about Connor’s (Judah Mackey) OCD. Plus, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will confront Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). And Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will lurk at Crimson Lights.
Y&R spoilers tease Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will tell Ashley that Tucker is worried about her. “Let him think I’m crazy, it’s exactly what I want,” Ashley say. “This is all going exactly how I intended, I have a plan.” She’ll describe it to her sister, but Traci won’t like it.
At the Jazz Club, Tucker will tell Audra whether Ashley’s having a breakdown or faking it, it’s not his concern, she is. But Audra will be suspicious. “I cannot lose you, I won’t,” Tucker will reply. “You’re my best friend and I’m sorry.” Audra will ask him to tell her what she needs to hear. “I love you Audra,” he’ll say, and she’ll take his hand. Then he’ll kiss her. “I love you too,” she’ll reply.

But when they return to their room, they’ll find an unpleasant surprise, Ashley. She’ll tell Tucker she took his advice and made the appointment. Tucker will say he’s glad to hear it and ask her to leave. Audra will tell Ashley she’s embarrassing herself. “Tucker, can you put a muzzle on this yappy little bitch?” Ashley will reply. Audra will lunge at her, so she’ll leave. But in the hallway, Ashley won’t know why she’s there.
At the ranch, Victor will ask Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) what brings him by. He’ll say he, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor are heading to the east coast, because Connor has OCD. He’ll add that Connor has been offered a spot at a residential facility and they have to leave immediately.
Victor will say he knows what it’s like to have a child that suffers and there’s nothing you can do. But he’ll tell Adam he and Chelsea are making the right move. However, Adam will ask if what’s happening to Connor is his fault.
A teary-eyed Victor will say his son had a tough childhood too, but he’s proud of the man that he’s become. Then Victoria will walk in and tell them she can’t find Claire. But after Victor leaves the room, Adam will say maybe Claire left to be with her crazy aunt. Victoria will get angry and Adam will apologize. He’ll tell her about what’s going on with Connor and she’ll say she’s sorry for what he’s going through.
Meanwhile, Claire will be at Crimson Lights. “This is my very first time being out in the real world all by myself,” she’ll tell Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), when he walks in. He’ll say he’s surprised Victor and Victoria let her go out on her own with Jordan on the loose. But she’ll say her aunt doesn’t scare her.

Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will arrive and Michael will introduce them. Then Summer will walk in, and she’ll hear Claire tell Lauren she’d like to work with children. Michael and Lauren will leave and Claire will ask if Summer if wants to sit down, but she’ll decline.
“You learned the whole truth about me didn’t you?” Claire will ask, and Summer won’t deny it. She’ll say she can’t wrap her head around it. But Claire will tell her she’s not that person anymore. “You tried to kill my dad, my aunt, my grandparents,” Summer will say. “What makes you think you will ever be qualified to work with children?”
Claire will tell her she’s trying to do everything she can to get better. She’ll add that terrible things were done to her. “So, you’re a victim?” Summer will reply. But Claire will say she hopes she can trust her. “And who knows, maybe one day we can have a real relationship as cousins.”
Summer will spot Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and will introduce him to her cousin. And as Claire leaves the coffee shop, the camera will cut to Jordan, disguised as a man, watching her niece walk out the door.
Finally, Summer will tell Chance what Claire did to her family. “I saw her in action with my grandma before, she’s a pretty good actress,” Summer will say. “I don’t really know how you go from homicidal behavior to a normal person in a span of months. I’m not ready to trust my cousin Claire.”
