The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, January 30 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will keep Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in the dark, about a fire at Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) prison.
Also coming up, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will have a change of heart. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will disclose Nikki’s struggles to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be impressed with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Y&R spoilers tease Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will tell Audra he was surprised to hear from her. “Did my pitch get under your skin?” he’ll ask. “Or am I just that irresistible?” She’ll say she’s changed her mind about his offer regarding Glissade. “I decided to leave Newman Media, effective immediately,” Audra will admit. But Tucker will suspect that Nikki fired her.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nate Asks Why She Was With Tucker
Then Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will walk in and Audra will stare at Nate. Tucker will suspect he’s sure it’s equated with her “quitting” Newman Media. “He’s an attractive man Tucker, maybe I just like looking at him,” she’ll reply.
But Tucker won’t give it up. “You’re up to something with Nate,” he’ll say, and walk away. After he leaves, Nate will approach Audra and ask why she was sitting with Tucker. She’ll say he gave her an idea, to work on her plan to take over Glissade from the inside.
Meanwhile, Victor will call out Nikki’s name and knock on her office door. When he leaves, Jack and Nikki will be relieved. “It’s been a long time since I’ve felt the need to sneak around,” Jack will say. “I didn’t miss the feeling at all.” He’ll tell her this will continue, as long as she keeps secrets from Victor. Then Victor will call her and she’ll lie and say she wasn’t in her office because she went for a walk, but she’s back now and she’ll come see him.
Jack will repeat that she needs to tell Victor. But Nikki will refuse and say she can handle it. She’ll thank him for dropping everything when she called. Jack will say he was at Society having a drink with Victor, trying to get a read on him. “What?” Nikki will reply. “That is exactly what you’re not supposed to do.” But Jack will say Victor will do anything for her and that could include accepting him as her sponsor.
When he returns home, Jack will tell Diane he was just with Nikki. “I have seen Nikki fight this battle more than once,” he’ll tell his wife. “But there’s this look in her eye, a fear like I’ve never seen before.” Diane will suggest maybe it’s too much for him to take on. But Jack will tell her there’s no reason to be concerned.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Tells Her She’s Amazing
In the Newman Enterprises CEO office, Victor will tell Nick he doesn’t like Jack snooping around about their family. But Nick will say he shouldn’t be worried about Jack, he’s always had Nikki’s best interests at heart. “We don’t need his concern,” Victor will reply. “And your mother doesn’t need his support.”
Nick will head out to Crimson Lights, and he’ll smile as he watches Sharon on a zoom meeting with her staff. “Wow,” Nick will say to her, as she ends the video chat. “You’re amazing.” He’ll add that she’s remarkable, still keeping up with Crimson Lights, while running a new company. “I just can’t bring myself to sell our cute little coffee house,” Sharon will tell him. “There’s just so many memories here.”
Finally, Nikki will walk into Victor’s office and he’ll ask how it’s going with her new sponsor. “Very well,” she’ll reply. They’ll go to Society for dinner and Victor will tell Nikki he ran into Jack earlier. He’ll ask why she told him about her drinking. Nikki will say she doesn’t want to hide it from Jack and she’ll ask why it bothers him. “My issue with this is that Jack Abbott can’t be trusted,” Victor will reply. “I have never trusted him.”
Then Victor will get a phone call from his security, about a major prison fire where Jordan was incarcerated. Victor will tell his security man to keep him informed. “What’s wrong?” Nikki will ask. “Just business baby, nothing to worry about,” Victor will reply.
