The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, December 18 reveals Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard’s (J. Eddie Peck) biological child.
Also coming up, a horrified Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will spot Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) looking through a window. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be shocked by Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) news. And Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) isn’t sure if she can trust Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra and Tucker will have yet another mind numbing conversation, this time about what Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) thinks he’s up to. “Kyle was on board before you revealed your plan,” Audra will tell Tucker. She’ll ask him what guarantee she has that she won’t suffer a similar fate to Kyle’s. Then he’ll get a text, and tell Audra he’s the proud owner of Glacade.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Billy Feels He Can’t Compete With Jack
At the Abbott estate, Billy will tell Jack he’s leaving Jabot. “You fought tooth and nail for this job!” Jack will say. “You belong at Jabot, I won’t let this happen.” But Billy will say he only kept him around because he thought he would spiral. “I have finally realized that being at Jabot isn’t good for me,” he’ll say. “Too much win at all costs.” So, Jack will say when he explains his reasoning that way, he gets it.
But the stakes will be just as high at Chancellor Winters. “What changes?” Jack will ask. “You,” Billy will reply. He’ll add that he always had a nagging feeling that he’d never impress him. By going to Chancellor Winters he gets to take the pressure off. “There’s only one Jack Abbott, and I can’t compete with that.” Jack will tell him he’ll miss him.
Then Kyle and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will walk in. “Billy is leaving Jabot,” Jack will tell them. “Because of me.” But Diane will say maybe he just wanted to work with his mother. “It makes sense that working with you could feel like a poker marathon,” Kyle will say. “Knowing he’d never come out on top.”
Meanwhile, Nikki will gaze at the vodka bottle. Then Victoria and Cole will arrive and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) shortly after. He’ll say he wants Claire transferred to a mental health facility in Genoa City. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will arrive and Michael will get a call from the courthouse. Victor will ask Nikki if she’s okay and she’ll say she’s fine.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nikki Sees Jordan Looking At Her
Michael will come back in the room and tell them the judge decided Claire would be remanded to a psych hospital in Genoa City. He’ll say she’s being transferred right now. “I can’t believe how fast this is happening,” Nikki will say. “We all need to be very careful, we don’t really know who she truly is.” Then Cole will get a notification on his phone. “I think we’re about to find out, right now,” he’ll say. Then he’ll turn to Victoria. “Claire is our daughter.”
“She’s our baby Eve,” Victoria will say, overjoyed. But Nikki will tell Victoria they don’t have to make any decisions now. However, Victoria will admit that all she can think about is Claire. So, Victoria, Cole and Michael will head to Memorial. Once they’ve left, Victor will head into another room to make a call. And Nikki will be stunned when she sees Jordan standing outside.
Finally, Victoria and Cole will arrive at the hospital. “I was just so sure that this was impossible,” Cole will say to Victoria, once they’re there. “I just keep thinking about all the things we couldn’t protect her from,” Victoria will reply. Then Claire will be brought in and they’ll tell her they did a DNA test. “Claire, it’s the only honest thing that your Aunt Jordan said,” Victoria will tell her. “You are our daughter.”
