The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop reveals two women are vying for Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) heart. But who does he belong with – Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) or Summer Newman (Allison Lanier)?

Y&R spoilers tease Summer has finally admitted to herself what she’s known in her heart for quite a while now. She’s fallen for Chance. This realization came about when the newly minted chief of police was shot.

Ironically enough, Summer only knew because she happened to be at Crimson Lights when Sharon found out. But instead of waiting for news on his condition, she rushed to Chance’s side. And by the time Sharon arrived, he had woken up and was holding Summer’s hand.

Y&R Poll – Summer Fans Believe They Have Chemistry

Of course, as with any blossoming love triangle, fans have taken sides. Those on Team Summer believe they have more chemistry together. Not to mention, they’re also closer in age than Chance and Sharon.

Then again, Summer has just gone through a divorce from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) who, as Sharon pointed out, was the love of her life. So, could her feelings for Chance be because she’s on the rebound?

Team Sharon fans emphasize the couple’s romance has been burgeoning for months now. And they truly care for each other. Not to mention, Chance hasn’t really shown any interest in Summer, besides the occasional shared smile. Although when Sharon’s asked about it, she tells others that she and Chance are just having fun together.

However, at the end of Friday’s Y&R, Summer seemed to have decided she was going to fight for Chance. Then she imagined telling Sharon she was falling for the cop.

“I can’t help it, the heart wants what it wants,” Summer fantasized. “I’m not gonna back down.” But if she decides to tell him how she really feels, will Chance even be interested? Or will he want to stay with Sharon?
