The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, November 8 reveals Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be furious with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for not having his back.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be offended by Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Plus, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will find out Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) has been shot. And Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will inform Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) that she’s quitting Marchetti.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will run into Danny at the Jazz Club. She’ll try to converse with him but he won’t seem in the mood. “I know,” she’ll tell him. “The bug comes back into town and suddenly I’m a pariah.” But Danny will tell her nothing has changed, he still admires how she’s trying to turn her life around.

Meanwhile, Nina will tell Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) she was hoping to see more of Chance but she hasn’t. “I thought he’d be working more regular hours now but apparently not,” she’ll say. Talk will turn to Danny and they’ll dish about Phyllis’ reaction when Christine walked into the Jazz Club. But Nina will get a call from the hospital. “Chance has been shot,” she’ll tell Christine. Then Nina will rush to her son’s side.
At Crimson Lights, Chelsea and Chloe will meet up with Summer, who will say she wanted to clear the air. But Chelsea will say it’s perfectly normal to have creative differences. Summer will tell them she’s confident they can strike the right balance. “I just don’t think that’s possible,” Chloe will reply. “You are a pair of rock stars, you are going to do great things together, but I just think it’s time for me to move on.”
All of a sudden, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will rush out to the counter. She’ll be on the phone to Esther Valentine (Kate Linder), asking if she can get to the coffee shop as fast as possible. Summer will ask Sharon what’s going on. “Chance has been shot,” Sharon will reply.
At Newman Media, Nate will be in shock. “I’m fired?” he’ll ask. “You had it all planned Nate didn’t you?” Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will reply. “Send me to some looney bin, surrounded by doctors.” He’ll say he talked to the head doctor and found out Nate had already set it up. Then Victor will admit the whole thing was a charade. “I didn’t forget a damn thing, I didn’t have lapses,” the Mustache will continue. “I had to find out who would possibly betray me.”

Victor will admit he was leaning in Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) direction. “But to my relief I found out the real culprit was not you,” he’ll say, adding he had his doubts about all of them. “I watched you when I told you I would demote you,” he’ll tell Victoria. “Even now, you’re more concerned about your position than about what your boyfriend has done.” Then Nate will chime in that he did nothing wrong and had no ulterior motives. But when he sees his argument is going nowhere, he’ll tell Victor he did him a favor and storm out.
Victoria will follow Nate out to the hallway. “I offered Victor the best course of action and you didn’t have my back!” Nate will tell his girlfriend. “I thought we were a team.” But Victoria will say they still are. “You basically threw me to the wolves, you sided with Adam!” Nate will reply. “My mistake was thinking you’d have my back. I won’t make it again.”
Back in the CEO office, Adam will tell his father that was a hell of a play. But Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will tell Victor they’re sure Adam would have tried to use the situation to his advantage. “I am convinced that Adam acted in my best interests and the company’s best interests,” Victor will reply. Victoria will walk back in and tell her father he should have given Nate the benefit of the doubt. “Your instincts are worthless, when it comes to Adam,” she’ll say. “I’m sorry but I don’t know if I can forgive you for this.”
Finally, Victoria will text Nate: “Please call me back. We need to talk.” But Nate will see it, make a disgusted face, and not reply. Then he’ll see Devon Winters’ (Bryton James) text to meet for a drink. “Tell me when and where,” Nate will respond.
