The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop reveals that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) may be too good to be true.
Ever since she was hired, Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) new assistant has been blowing smoke up the Newman’s butts. Plus, Claire seems very interested in finding out everything that’s going on with the Newman family. But is she just a dedicated employee, or does she have a score to settle?
Here’s what we know so far about Y&R’s newest character: Claire spent her summers in Genoa City with a friend. She lost her parents at a young age, has no siblings and was brought up by a strict, no-nonsense great aunt.
Y&R Poll – Audra The Only One Not Buying Claire’s Act
Last week, Nikki introduced Claire to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and she immediately laid it on thick. The young woman told told him she was honored to be entrusted with the responsibility of being his wife’s assistant. “I know how lucky I am to be part of an exciting young business like Newman Media,” Claire gushed. “And to be given this opportunity to learn from the best.”
On Monday, she’ll meet Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and she’ll fangirl all over her. “It’s an honor to meet you, Ms. Newman,” Claire will tell her. “I’m so impressed by everything you’ve done here at your family company.”
The only person who isn’t buying Claire’s act is Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). In fact, after her last interaction with Nikki’s new assistant, Audra was so suspicious that she decided to look her up on the internet. But what will she discover?

On the other hand, Claire could just be the type of person who believes in being gracious and behaving appropriately. Perhaps her upbringing has taught her to act this way and she’s not up to anything at all.
