Young And The Restless Scoop October 16: Victor Makes Nick Think He’s Losing His Mind – Sally Admits To Adam That She Can’t Let Him Go

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, October 16 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will pull a fast one on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Also coming up, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will learn that Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is moving back to town. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will hear disturbing news. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will vent her frustrations on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Y&R spoilers tease Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei) will meet Heather for a drink at Society. He’ll tell her he’s looking for something more permanent than a hotel room. Heather will ask if he can keep an eye out for her too and Lily will come along and ask if she’s moving back to Genoa City. “Daniel didn’t tell you?” Heather will say. “I told him a while ago.”

When Heather leaves, Lily will ask if that’s why he seemed off in the morning. “You could have told me,” a concerned Lily will say. But Daniel will assure her he won’t get back with Heather. “Heather is my past, you are my future.”

Y&R Daily Scoop – Sally Vents Her Frustrations To Adam

Meanwhile, Adam will show up at Sally’s door and ask her for five minutes of her time. She’ll let him in and he’ll say he wanted to make sure she was all right. “This is about our kiss, isn’t it?” he’ll ask. “About Nick’s reaction?” He’ll ask if Nick’s going to pull the plug on her business because of him. “Well he’s going to end our relationship over it so yeah, he could,” she’ll reply. “Even the strongest people in the world need to vent every once in a while,” Adam will tell her and he’ll encourage her to go for it.

So she will, with a vengeance. “Every single time I am happy there you are, to take away my happiness,” Sally will tell him. “We’ve been doing this dance for a long time now and I am exhausted, I don’t want to do it anymore.” She’ll continue that she’s sick of him getting in her head. “Why did you have to kiss me? Why can’t you just let me go Adam?” He’ll apologize but will ask why she can’t get past it. “Because I can’t let go of you either,” she’ll reply. Then Sally will tell him if he cares about her at all, to leave her alone and she’ll ask him to leave.

At Newman Media, Victoria will show up in Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) office and she’ll say that Adam told her Victor called him Nicholas. “I know you’re worried as well, I can see it in your eyes,” she’ll tell her mother. “I don’t think there’s a reason for any of us to overreact,” Nikki will reply. “Maybe, but maybe we’re not reacting enough,” Victoria will retort.

In the hallway, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will literally bump into Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). She’ll introduce herself and Nate will do the same. She’ll say her dreams are coming true, working at Newman Media. But when Nate heads off, Claire will glance back at him and smile slyly.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Victoria And Nate Are Worried

At the ranch, Nick will hit a punching bag with Victor. “Are you pissed off with someone or what?” Victor will ask. Nick will say he saw Adam earlier, who told him he called him Nicholas. “He misheard me,” Victor will say. “Why would he say nonsense like that?” Afterwards, father and son will head to the GCAC for a drink. Nick will ask him how it’s going, being back at the office.

Victor will say he wishes Nick were working there. However, Nick will say he’s enjoying working with Sharon. “But look at how happy your sister is at Newman Media,” Victor will reply. Nick will point out Nikki’s the one at Newman Media, not Victoria. And Victor will pretend to be confused.

Talk will turn to Adam and Nick will say that earlier in the day, he decided not to put Adam through a wall. “He absolutely ruined my relationship with Sally.” Victor will say he’s too good for Sally. However, Nick will tell his father  he’s in love with Sally, and Adam refuses to accept that. “But Adam and Sally are expecting a baby, how can you possibly compete with that?” Victor will reply. A stunned Nick will say they lost the baby months ago. “Oh,” Victor will say and leave. But he’ll look around the corner to see Nick’s reaction to what he just said.

Finally, Nick will flash back to the conversation he had with his sister about Victor’s mental health. Then he’ll spot Victoria and Nate walk in and he’ll call them over. “You might be right, about dad,” he’ll say.
