The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, September 22 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be as cold as ice with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Also coming up, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will grill Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Plus, Phyllis will agree to help Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). And Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) she’s not the love of his life.
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will walk into Society and ask Adam if he can join him. He’ll say no but Billy will sit down anyway. He’ll say he sympathizes with him on losing his job again. “What do you want?” Adam will ask. Billy say tell him he wants to know the damaging information he has on Tucker.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Kyle Denies He Still Wants Summer
“What are you proposing to offer me in return?” he’ll ask. Then Adam will say he’s changed and has a different mindset. He’s going to work his way up at Newman. “From one chronic screwup to another, that’s never gonna happen,” Billy will reply, laughing. “So why don’t you quit the posturing, tell me your price and then we can move on.” But Adam won’t divulge anything.
Meanwhile, Kyle will try to rush out the front door at the Abbott estate. But his mother will stop him. He’ll say he’s heading to Newman Media to clear out his office. “Nikki terminated my contract.” Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will ask if it has to do with Audra. “Your fling with her cost you your job.” She’ll drag him back into the house and ask what he’s going to do now. But he won’t want to talk about. And she’ll hint that the co-CEO job at Jabot could be up for grabs again.
Jack will arrive and find out Kyle is unemployed. He’ll ask if that means he’d be willing to return to Jabot. “That depends,” Kyle will reply. “Are you ready to reinstate me as co-CEO, or are you going to keep ignoring Billy’s talent for screwing up every time he turns around?” But when Jack won’t guarantee anything, he’ll say he has to go clean out his desk.
Instead, Kyle will walk into the GCAC and spot Audra there. “May I sit down, or would that jeopardize your job?” he’ll inquire. Audra will ask him if he blames her for what happened. He’ll say he doesn’t. But she’ll tell him she’s noticed he has an edge in his voice now. “We had fun, the sex was great and now we move on with our lives,” she’ll say. Audra will point out he’s not the love of her life and she’s not the love of his. “That would be Summer.” But Kyle will vehemently deny it.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Billy Sees Phyllis Go Upstairs
At the park, Phyllis will ask Jack how he’s doing and he’ll scowl at her. “I have no interest in making small talk with you.” Phyllis will ask if this is how it’s going to be. “I feel no need to be polite, civil,” he’ll reply. He’ll say they had one thing between them, their son and daughter. “And you somehow managed to obliterate that as well.” But Phyllis will tell him she knows she screwed up and she’s trying hard to change. “I said goodbye to you at your memorial service,” Jack will respond. “As far as I’m concerned, you’re still dead.”
Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will show up and Phyllis will say maybe she should have just disappeared. “You’re staying here,” he’ll say. Then he’ll offer her a job at Omega Sphere. Phyllis will flash back to the money Tucker offered her and, she’ll tell Daniel she’ll think about it. A sullen Daniel will leave, and Phyllis will decide she has no choice but to help Tucker. However, she’ll promise God this is the last time. “After this, I’m done. ” Then she’ll text Tucker that she’s ready and on her way.
Finally, Phyllis will arrive at the GCAC and see Billy standing there. Tucker will be right behind her and Phyllis will quickly head to the bar, as Tucker goes upstairs. She’ll wait until Billy leaves and then head up. But Billy will be watching from behind the revolving door.
