The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, September 8 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will encourage his father to get rid of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get a job offer. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will give Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) her company back. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will gaslight Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Y&R spoilers tease Sharon will tell Nick she’s hired Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) to represent her with Victor, since Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is still in Singapore. She’ll also say she spoke with Adam. “He wants you to feel sorry for him, don’t buy into it,” Nick will tell Sharon. But she’ll say he wants her to help him make amends with his family. “I just don’t buy it, and you shouldn’t either,” Nick will reply.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Pleased Victor Reversed Course
Speaking of Adam, he’ll tell Sally he pushed too hard, and blew what could have been a great partnership with Sharon and Nick. “This was finally the wake-up call I needed.” He’ll say he’s going to change course and start over. But Nick will walk in and confront him. “Stop trying to enlist Sharon to fight your battles for you,” he’ll tell Adam. “Or anyone else for that matter.” Sally will encourage Nick to hear him out. “I have to start over, I need a reset,” Adam will say to his brother. “I wanna be a part of this family, so what do I need to do to make that happen?”
Meanwhile, Sharon will plead her case to Victor, saying folding SNA and Kirsten was never part of the arrangement. “Now you’ve decided to gut my company.” Heather will point out Sharon has been operating in good faith. “The company is sound, I want the chance to build it and realize my vision, ” Sharon will add. And she’ll be stunned when Victor agrees with her.
“Sharon should retain control of Kirsten Incorporated,” he’ll say. “As far as I’m concerned, I release it back to you, free and clear.” Sharon will be thrilled, and she’ll thank him. After Heather leaves, they’ll discuss Adam and Sharon will tell Victor if he doesn’t give him another chance she doesn’t know what he’ll do. So later, Victor will show up at Adam’s door.
Back at Society, Sharon will walk in and tell Nick his father gave her the company back. Then she’ll ask Nick if he’s made a decision about returning to Newman. He’ll say part of him wants to help his family but another part feels like it’s a trap. “There is a third option, come to work with me,” Sharon will say. “We can run this company, without interference, we’ll do it right this time.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Diane Is Shocked By His Attitude
Finally, Kyle will arrive at the Abbott estate and he’ll get the third degree from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). “You need to deal with what’s going on with you,” his mother will say. But Kyle will tell his parents he’s having a blast and loving every minute of his life. “It’s like smilin’ Jack in the old days.” Diane will bring up Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle will lie and say they’re not seeing each other anymore.
They’ll ask him about Newman Media and he’ll tell them Audra’s going to be COO, but he still doesn’t know what job he’ll have there. “So you’re willing to take a lesser position there but not with your own family?” Jack will ask. However, Kyle will point out he was forced out of Marchetti. But he has no regrets. “Leaving Jabot and breaking things off with Summer is the greatest thing that could have happened to me,” he’ll say. “I am living my life the way I want to now.”
However, he’ll warn his parents if they keep harping on him, he and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) will find someplace else to live.” Diane will say she can’t believe he’d use Harrison to threaten them. Still, they’ll promise to back off and Jack will confide in Kyle about the way Billy’s been acting. And Kyle will assume his father has already considered firing him. “My advice? Do it – get out in front of this,” Kyle will continue. “Then I might consider stepping back into my old role, cause you know you can trust me.” But will Jack fire Billy?
