The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, September 7 reveals Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will warn Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) she’s playing with fire.
Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be shocked by Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) suggestion about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). And Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be well prepared for his meeting with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Y&R spoilers tease Jack will tell Diane that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) are in Paris. He’ll say his conversation with Ashley was a breakthrough. But she’ll ask him to keep his guard up, just in case. “I honestly believe this time our war with Ashley may finally be over,” Jack will reply. “But unfortunately, another one might be right on the horizon.”

So, he’ll tell her it may have been a mistake to make Billy a trojan horse in their war against Ashley and Tucker. “I’m going to need you close by my side if this thing with Billy goes the say I’m afraid it might.” Jack will add that if he has to let Billy go, he hopes Diane will step up.
At the Chancellor estate, Billy will tell Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) he’s worried. “Ashley was right, I’m afraid Jack’s new wife is going to be a danger for Jabot.” He believes Diane will manipulate Jack to give her more power. “She could walk away with a decent chunk if she and Jack divorced.” So, he’s crafting a bylaw to make sure Diane doesn’t have a seat on the board for at least 10 years and he wants Abby’s support. “I’m sorry Billy, but you’re going to have to count me out,” Abby will reply.
Billy will head to Jabot and he’ll tell Jack he read the post-nuptial agreement. “The smart thing to do is to put guidelines in place to make sure she can’t come after my job, or furthermore, the company.” He’ll say it would be until Diane can prove herself. “I happen to trust her business acumen and her heart, which is more than I can say about you,” Jack will reply. He’ll remind him that not long ago they were working together to protect Diane. But Billy will point out they were trying to protect the company, which he’d realize if he’d open his eyes.
Meanwhile, Nikki will tell Kyle she knows about his affair with Audra and she told her to end it or she’d be out of a job. Kyle will lie and say Audra already broke it off. Nikki won’t be able to say what position he’ll have, but he’ll stay employed. But there’s one caveat. “If there is even a hint of unprofessional behavior between you two, I will replace both of you instantly,” Nikki will warn. “Do you understand?”

At Society, Nate will ask Audra if Nikki knows what’s going on between her and Kyle. Audra will say Nikki gave her a choice, Kyle or her job, so she ended things. “Frankly, I’m glad to hear it, you need to protect your position at Newman Media,” Nate will say. “And don’t even think about risking it all by playing around in the sheets with Kyle Abbott.”
He’ll ask her to promise him she’ll behave, when it comes to Kyle. “I went out on a limb about you, for you, if you mess this up, my credibility weakens,” Nate will tell his ally. “And I’m in too good a place for you to make me look bad.” Then Nikki will walk in and she’ll ask him how Audra could make him look bad. But Audra will make up an excuse. Then she’ll get a text from Kyle, asking to meet him at the park. She’ll grin as she reads it and Nate will be suspicious.
Finally, Nate will follow Audra to Chancellor Park and will eavesdrop on her and Kyle, as they stand close together and flirt. When Kyle gets a call from Jack and leaves, Nate will approach Audra. “I had a feeling that you were lying to me,” he’ll say. “What’s worse though, you’re lying to Nikki Newman and you’re playing with fire.”
