The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, August 28 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have second thoughts about Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) generous offer.
Also coming up, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will wonder if she should take back Kirsten Incorporated. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will disappoint Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). And Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will be concerned.
Y&R spoilers tease Mariah and Tessa will wait for the specialist, so they can find out about Aria’s hearing. Sharon will tell them not to panic. Then she’ll talk about Adam and the Newman drama that’s been unfolding. And Mariah will tell her mom she’ll get through it – she’s strong and fearless.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Devon Is There For Mariah And Tessa
After Sharon leaves, Mariah will continue to fret about Aria. But Tessa will arrange for a surprise for her wife. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will come to the door. He’ll tell Mariah he’s there to answer any questions she might have about Aria’s hearing loss and to help in any way that he can.
Meanwhile, Adam will show up at the ranch. He’ll say when the merger goes through he wants to be CEO of Newman Media. “I think I deserve a seat at the head of the table.” Victor will not be surprised by his request. He’ll say it’s brazen but in keeping with his former actions. “Did you run this gambit by Nicholas and Sharon?” Victor will ask. Adam will tell him they didn’t like it, but they’ll eventually fall in line.
Victor will say there’s no reason to change the dynamics that are already in place. “I’m not surprised,” Adam will reply. “You always like to dangle that carrot just out of reach.” He’ll ask Victor how many times did he suggest a merger. “Yet Nate Hastings opens his mouth and suddenly it’s a billion dollar idea?” Adam will wonder if it’s a backhanded punishment for the blackmail scheme. “This is not about me, it’s about you, your methods,” Victor will reply.
Meanwhile, Sally will ask Nick if his offer to fund a business for her is still on the table. Nick will say of course it is. Then she’ll head to the coffee house to meet with Adam. But he won’t be happy when she turns down his job offer. Sally will say she’s decided to take Nick up on his offer to fund her own business. “I think it’s a mistake,” he’ll tell her. “How do you know it’s going to be yours with Nick’s money behind it?”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victor Surprised By Sharon
Nick will head to Society and he and Sharon will discuss Adam. “Why are we jumping through all these hoops, just to keep Adam on a leash?” she’ll ask. “What if we back out of the whole deal, we take back Kirsten and make it our own?” But Nick will ask her if it’s the right move. “It could mean lawsuits and family drama.”
Then Nick will see Victor standing there. He’ll sit down and Sharon will ask Victor if he feels Kirsten is still essential. However, he’ll say he wouldn’t have approved the merger otherwise. “And yet you believe it should be stripped down to it’s bare essentials, to become a cog in a bigger machine called Newman,” Sharon will reply. Later, Victor will complain to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that Sharon’s threatening to pull out of the arrangement. He’ll say he’s also worried Nick will follow suit.
Finally, Sally will tell Nick she turned down Adam’s job offer, and he wasn’t happy about it. Nick will say he’s fed up with Adam and wonders why he’s involved in the merger. “Maybe I should just bag the whole thing and focus on your new business venture.” But Sally will say she’s looking for an investor, not a business partner. “The quickest way for there to be trouble between us is if I suddenly have to answer to you,” she’ll tell him. “So, can we please make an agreement that I am running the show? Otherwise, there’s no deal.”
