The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, August 11 reveals Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will worry that she’s going to lose everything.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t get the reactions she was expecting. Plus, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will question Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). And Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be suspicious.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will have a table set up with place settings at Chancellor Park. She’ll tell Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) it’s a celebration of her freedom. “I’m so proud of you,” Lauren will say to Phyllis. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will arrive and Phyllis will tell them she’s free, the judge dropped the charges. “No charges for your sister either, just like you wanted.” But Phyllis will not understand their muted reactions.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis’ Celebration Will Be Cut Short
“What are we celebrating here?” Summer will ask. “The lies that you told, the torture that you put us through?” However, Phyllis will say it’s an apology from her for all the pain and anger she caused. “We’re not angry anymore,” Summer will say. “But we are done,” Daniel will add. They’ll bring up all her lies. “And you think that some champagne and some cake is going to make everything better?” Summer will ask. Then they’ll leave.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon will tell Adam that he will be putting them all in a tight spot if he continues to pursue Newman Media. “I imagine Victor will become more receptive to the idea at some point,” Adam will say, as Audra walks in. Sharon will turn around and spot her. “Okay, what are you up to?” she’ll ask Adam.
Then Adam will chat with Audra on the patio. She’ll say Victoria, and especially Nikki, are not big on the idea of a merger. So, he’ll tell her she’d better make Nikki her best friend. “Stick with the plan,” Adam will say. “I’m losing my patience.” When he returns to the table, Sharon will tell him he better not be planning any sneaky moves. “I have a bad feeling about this Adam, I don’t like it.”
Meanwhile, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will arrive at Newman just as Nikki gets a message from Audra, who wants to meet with her. When Nikki gets to the GCAC, she’ll tell Audra to cut to the chase. And Audra will say she thinks the idea of a merger isn’t necessarily a bad one. Nikki will ask her if she got this information from Nate. But she’ll lie and say she hasn’t discussed it with him. Then Nikki will say she, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria are opposed to a merger. “Please don’t bring it up again.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nikki’s Alarm Bells Go Off
Meanwhile, Nate will want to talk about the Newman Media issue and Victoria will say she’s no longer sure it’s worth discussing. She’ll point out Audra is doing an exemplary job. “Plus, on top of that, I just can’t get past the whole Adam factor.” She’ll also say they don’t need to make any rash moves. “Now is not the right time to risk upsetting my father.” Nate will tell Victoria he accepts her decision and won’t bring it up again.
As Nate leaves Victoria’s office, he’ll be confronted by Nikki. She’ll say she just spoke with Audra and doesn’t think it’s a coincidence they’re on the same page about the merger. Not surprisingly, Nate will say he and Audra haven’t spoken about it. “You’re playing a very interesting game my friend,” Nikki will say. “I don’t advise continuing.” Then she’ll head into Victoria’s office and tell her Audra pitched the merger idea to her. “It could have been Nate speaking, it was so similar,” she’ll add. “My gut tells me that those two are up to something, together.”
Finally, Nate will barge into Audra’s room and ask her what she said to Nikki. “I told you I would handle Nikki and Victoria,” he’ll say angrily. “Whatever you said, Nikki’s alarm bells are going off and she doesn’t trust either of us.” And he’ll tell her the merger isn’t happening. “Then I’m screwed,” Audra will say. “Adam’s got me and I’ll just lose everything.”
